@discostu333 Or even better the Best morning out (after a long hard and very fun night out elsewhere) at Insomniaz always ended with either Farley or Glazby or Karim. So knackered you could barely stand but could still have it large! 🙂🙂🙂
@@gabbermensch Thanks for that recommendation, I'd never heard of Casper before, probably as I quit clubbing in the early to mid 2000's. In the process of listening to Casper Live at Bezerk Immortal. WTF is he doing? Totally gobsmacked, it's like a cross between Farley, Glazby and Lab4, and that is a massive compliment! 🙂

@@JMEbangingtunes ah good glad you had a nice time away. Haha yea interestingly enough I started with the Karim mix but thought I’d check out the channel see if I missed anything , and only this bad boy was there! 😃 That’s an Xmas result if I do say so myself 😉 haha
If you were to see this story arc in a film you wouldn't believe it. King of the hardest, hard house to estate agent in a decade. I assume he's earning a shitload more money now than he ever did mixing records. Fair play to the guy. Back in the day his mixing was flawless. Best hard house DJ there ever was IMHO. Bit rusty now though 🤣
This isn't from Aug 2023, it's from Sep 2019 - says as much on the wall behind him! At first I was well confused by the 20th Birthday thing cos I was definitely already going to Insomz at Europa in early 2000. Lol.
He looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights & keeps looking over at his playlist nervously. He might as well have plugged a flash drive in & been done with it. So, he sold out & became an estate agent. Right that explains all. He did play a couple of bangers but only a couple. What a shame. 😱
gotta ask, how is going from headlining pretty much every hard dance event and festival in the late 90s and 00s to selling real estate "selling out"? Given trance and hard house has had its day (any event in 2020 onwards is a134bpm bag of wank, and the few decent ones are for fat, nostalgic 40 and 50 yr olds who cant let go of their ectasy honeymoon), what was he supposed to do? Actually sell out and produce cheese like Tiesto, Armin et al? If I was him, I'd much rather the legacy he has and tapping out on top of his game. Regardless of him changing careers, man has to earn a living. Might as well do it on the Gold Coast rather than piss cold Sheffield.
Yeh I did think but didn't wana say lol although should just use the pitch like he is, a tiny nudge sometimes woulda sorted out alot of those mixes quickly
The best nights out back in the day always ended with either Glazby or Karim.
If karim showed up lol
And fucking Casper...jesus that guy had a punch

@@padders1068yeah, Casper gets fucking evil at times... "Wallop" not just a tune but a description of his whole ethos
We need more clubs playing this style. I miss it so much
Storm Coalville for Saturday evening meal, then Insomniacz for breakfast and after that hop over the road to Howard pub for Sunday lunch..happy days👌

I'm on the other side of the city to where he is, but I keep thinking I might go to one of his open houses just to meet him.
Glazby, Farley or Ian always got totally evil thrap on the go
🤘🤘 looking forward to hearing this!!! Hope to see ya behind your decks one day soon jme! 🤞
Hey Barbs thanks hope you well :) yeh still need to sort my damn slow laptop so I can mix live again!! Ugh...catch u soon !

Any plans on coming to Australia anytime soon? Love these mixes!
Cheers 🙏
me or Glazby lol Glaz lives in Aus and me nah
He can also sell you a lovely house in Oz.
Clearly the inflation on houses in the Gold Coast was too much and he needed to clear his head with some filthy hard house
Anyone know the 1st track please?
Strapped in by Justin Bourne 👍

Poor mixing throughout, lost his touch has the dark destroyer
Still good tunes and a good set tho?
Was thinking the same, but he's been out of it for years and selling houses for a living. Was nice seeing him give it ago though

Track selection was spot on, mixing ropey at times but would still rather listen to this than most of the HH out there now. Nostalgia I guess
