I personally know Gary Schwartz (the voice of Heavy Weapons Guy). He's the director of my local theatre in North Bend, WA, and is an INCREDIBLE improv coach. He also wrote a children's book called _The King of Average_ (Which I highly recommend).

7:33 funny thing is Tf2 isn’t one to one with our history. Tf2 isnt our world so alternate history is definitely a thing so Soldier might be entirely correct
Well if I recall correctly, Soldier is supposed to be clinically insane and believes he fought in WWII, despite him being far too young to be a veteran of it. So I wouldn’t really trust any other information he says.
@@SmoothTurtle840 No, he was rejected from every branch of service during WW2 for his blatant insanity, so he bought his own ticket, went to Europe, taught himself how to use weapons, and went on a rampage until 1949.

It was pointed out to me a few years ago the Heavy's "I've yet to meet one that outsmart bullet" has 2 meanings. The first is the connotation "Calling me stupid doesn't do you any good when I'm shooting you." The second has to do with the fact that Heavy (believe it or not) has a PhD in Russian Literature. Because of this, he very likely knows of the old Russian saying that basically goes "On the battlefield, the bullet is the dumbest." In other words, he just called everyone else in TF2 "dumber than a bullet."

At times it might feel “choppy”. This is because it is implied in the comics that these were put together by the Director, a short lived, pun intended, character who was later found dead with a tv strapped to his chest in a mineshaft.

The game breaking when you take out a seemingly meaningless file is actually really common, typically when making a game you'll use placeholders when testing & just simply write a line saying just to never use that file when booting up the game & when you remove it it breaks everything because it's just built on it. For example Super Mario Galaxy runs on a 3D model of a mushroom.

So, I heard about the Coconut thing, not 100% sure if it’s real (heard some say it’s a misconception).
But part of the reason I think valve doesn’t exactly know why this causes it to crash, is because their coding is a nightmare for them. People referring to some of their older products code as “Spaghetti code”
A jumbled mess that is almost impossible to straighten out… yet somehow barely works.

If I remember correctly, one of soldiers taunts uses the texture when he drinks coffee. I'm not sure about it causing the game to fail though.

Heavy always talk about his wife/gun that's all we need. The Solider always ready what his duty to do war is hell his kind of hell. He do it for American. The Pryo ooohh no way knows what's inside mask and the mind of the hulking fire Frankenstein of a man. If he is a man or it is a man? Great work. I miss Rick May a lot he did voice Solider and fans remember him doing Peppy Hare from Star Fox and the evil main scientists Andross too he voice. *Rest in peace Rick May you will be remember by fans.* Thank you for the video.
I’m not sure if you’ve already watched it or not, but Team Neighborhood is an awesome Team Fortress 2 animated series. I’d like to see a reaction to that. It’s got 4 episodes so far and the 5th has been in development for… way too long

when the trailers came out, I was working in 3D modelling with very blocky faces, textures, and very rudimentary morph rigs.

The whole coconut thing was a myth. A youtube named Shounic proved it was fake and even made a video on how many files you could delete from tf2 while still being playable. The coconut is just an unused texture, it was meant to be a coffee bean affect that was never added to a taunt.

I have a caution against playing Tf2 at the moment for those who don't know: for 2 years now Tf2's casual mode has been infested with cheater Sniper aimbot robots and Valve removed the ability to use chat, voicechat, and in game character speech if you are a free-to-play. Bad news is the bot's owners found out they could buy the robot's premium accounts and now they're rampant. Second bad news is some servers *cough* Skial *cough* have intensely polarizing moods. Some are nice, some are tryhard city, some will devolve into chats about stuff like saying offensive or innuendos, and the worst is there is a new kind of menace: someone is using the filter system to funnel players into one empty server regardless of where you were gonna play. Yeah, Tf2 needs help. But Valve either doesn't care or honestly can't do anything.
Though there are bots, their numbers have heavily dropped from my experience. I joined during the middle of it in 2021 after getting a pc and I can definitely say it's not that bad.
After doing all of them, should watch "Meet the Blu Team"
