I like using the weeds from the Star of Bethlehem plant that grow in my front yard to make little baskets they're nice and long and tubular shaped perfect for basket making 😊.
Thanks Nancy, sorry I missed your comment. It really is so fun. It really calms me when I'm feeling anxious and it's probably time for me to make another one
You are so welcome! I am so glad you made it into the 'pops' Bianca.😘 Please let me know how it goes and if you have any questions shoot me a message on here, Instagram or FB. 💚
Yes the baskets dry and they do go lighter green but they keep some colour. Kept inside, they don't go moldy... well mine certainly haven't. I've had some for over a year 😊
I want baskets made from 100 percent nature not ones you need to buy string from the store, I'm gonna have to now look for a video at this point to find a way to make natural string with weeds or just weed baskets. We have done this without already bought string.

Thank you so very much for this video. I’m an Art teacher and I will be teaching 8th graders how to do this cool method this upcoming summer!
Well presented thank you I watched a previous video where the preamble was a third of the way through. Thank you

Our snow is melting, but once it does, this looks like something my children and some of the kids in the neighbourhood would enjoy!
Your kids would LOVE it B!
Lovely video and instructions. Can't wait to try with the grands. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I am thrilled you found it useful. Good luck! 🥰
I'd love to use our blackberry brambles for this project! They have such a pretty color. :) Thanks so much for the fun video!!
You are so welcome! I would love to see it Heather!
Ive never seen a blanket stitch twisted this way. Will a usual blanket stitch work?
So so wonderful! Clever you. Love this and can’t wait to try it out with the children. Anyone in England got any good weed recommendations? ☺️🙏
This is so much fun!

Other alternative to using raffia? Tq
I use recycled wool, embroidery... gosh even fine strips of material! :)
do the baskets dry and change color or go moldy?

I would love to do this with my kids what kind of weeds did you use?
We used corky passion vine. It's an invasive weed. Any vine used fresh or soaked over night should work. X
The audio in the first part is all in my left ear lol
