Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino 2022

The hotel we stayed at in the Dominican Republic... while beautiful, I would not stay there again... it was 2 hours from Punta Cana (many tourist attractions), the food was always served warm and the customer service could have been better. They also overcharged my credit card at checkout and I had to take it up with the bank because the hotel didn't want to acknowledge they had made a mistake. There is no shuttle from the airport to the hotel, and no microwave in the room. It is also nowhere near a beach, and it is advised that you always take a cab and never walk to your destination... It was still a great trip, I just wouldn't stay here again.

Could you detail how the ocean is right there but also 30 mins away? On Marriott's website the hotel is listed as oceanfront. Thanks

i would strongly consider going out to get food... the prices and taste is better!
