Good Sunday to Amy and Dougo 😊!!!!!!!!!!! Your Sunday video was just fantastic!!!!! Thanks for spending time with us. The cookers full of delicious food is just wonderful!!!!!! You all made me hungry now-ha!!!!! The great array of crock pots and their delicious food is great for the crew. My compliments to the Larsons for how great their provide for the help especially at harvest time. Thanks to Amy and Grandma Larson and great grandma Goldie for providing all the good old home cooked food!!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday wishes to great grandma Goldie who I believe will be 98, Dougo said. The food you have laid out for the crew is wonderful Amy!!!!!!!!! Sorry about two of the trucks breaking down. The one looks like an easy fix but the one with the motor gone is a different story. I would try and sell it as is first, who knows someone might have a motor for it. Would sure give it a try anyway. Seems harvesting time is hard on equipment. Nice job in the flower bed Amy. You do such a good job and that is such a special place, Nikki’s flower garden. Bless her. Thanks for the time in the Grain Shack!!!! Is a great place to include on the Sunday video. Is the center of operations at harvest time!!!!!!!’ Dougo seems right at home there and is comfortable in there with what is going on. Neat idea to include on Sundays. Thanks. Thanks for sharing everything Amy and Dougo. You both take care. My blessings to you both!!!!!!! The Iowa farm boy. Steve. 😊👋🙏💕✅🇺🇸
I am so thankful for good harvest weather (although gusting winds) here in Indiana! It's good to see you all keeping the boys well fed. I remember Nikki taking food to the farm a time or so. 😇 Thanks for letting us peak in on your lives. Stay safe & God bless.
In one of your videos can you explain the Black Turtle beans? why do you grow them, Does the local elevator take them or do they go to a processing facility? Growing up in Milbank area, I have never heard anyone grow them until I started watching Chets Channel. Thanks.
I like your toy collection, I still have some of the toys from a sunshine box that the church my parents took us to when we were little. A fisher price dozer with rubber tracks and the tracks are still on it and that was 1978. Better quality toys back then.
Amy, that book in the cabinet, was the one you found in the old house you investigated with Dougo, about a year ago and you took it, as it had looked forlorn all by itself!
Life of Riley when it Rains It Pours! That’s The old Saying! Amy My Sister used to bring a Cooler full of Steaks to the Field back in the 80’s when we were Hauling Square Bales 3 Crews 2 Trucks and 9 of us Boys! We Split 28 cents a Bale between us and We Followed 4 Bailers ! 3.5 Cents a Bale was Good Money!
I've always watched the toy case in the shop as well. All of us Farm boys had farm toys and broke them and some kept them nice.. I like the agri king case. I have a real 1971 Case 1070 and like the toys it broke . Pto went out. It's a bit more expensive then the toy .
Injector tips blowing off can be caused by water in the diesel. The water gets to the tip, compression heats it, creates super heated steam, expands so fast it breaks the injector tip off. Check your water separators.. Fuel storage tanks should have separators on them too. Hope you can get it fixed right..

Great Grandmas always had a "secret spices" stashed somewhere in the house Amy. I actually found my great grandmas "allspice" stashed in her root seller after she passed away. Just a pinch is all it took which was enough to add flavor to anything she put it in including her pickles. Maybe that's the flavor Doug is missing.
Amy. You need a Green house built onto the house somewhere and then pipe in that Green Air from the green house. That’s Heavenly Air especially in the Winter. We Love it. Make your House Tropical in the Winter. Have a small beautiful waterfall to get the Humid air for the house as well. ❤ Unless you have to use Pesticide/ or ? On the Green house plants. 🪴 Then have airtight valves to shut off the house loop. Then switch to exhaust fans to get chemical air and extreme summer hot out of the house. Imagine Minnesota -20 degree air outside then that wonderful green house plant humid air in the house 👍
I’ve always wanted one. There is a gal in a nearby town that has one built attached to her garage. She has beautiful plants and has a plant sale every spring.
@@amysblessings That would be So CooL to Grow Stuff throughout the Winter and then Sell the grown plants in the Spring. Plus Enjoy the GreenHouse Air throughout your house all thru the Winter when it’s Cold and Dry. It would be Very Therapeutic for You & Dougo’s Health. Or just Move to Florida and be Tropical all year long. Just build a Hurricane Proof house that’s Up high & dry ! 😂👍
Ya if we ever build a new house or a major addition it would for sure have a Greenhouse Wing. 😂 It sure would make the Cold Minnesota Dry Air Tropical in the House & it’s great for your Health & Well Being.
@@amysblessings hey Amy. Did you guys ever think about getting Dougo into Wearing a modern styled straw hat when working outdoors in the Sun ? as a mum grower, my suggestion to you is to buy and plant mums in the spring. at least buy them in July or August. you need to get a root system established in the soil prior to flowering.
I think your oven racks are upside down. The triangle-shaped [male} part on the rack is supposed to slide on the rack until the notched part sinks into the indention on the rack rail.
Don't know how you handle the set backs weather a warranty or not. Your time is worth more great video as always. 🙏 From central Pa on a good harvest, good prices and less break downs!
I have 4. I number them so the guys keep the correct pot and cover to the heating element. I’m not sure how many my sister-in-law has and I know JeanMarie has three. We also leave a couple at the shop just in case. Lol. 😂

This indead has been a bad year for equipment breakdowns. At the town I work at seems something has happened to each piece new or old. The frustrating thing is it's oddball stuff that you have to wait for the part to come in.
Don't feel to bad Dougo.I been driving truck for 37 years.Dependability should be from New trucks over old trucks. But they all break so dealership service availability factors in to dependability.Lotsa freightliner dealerships and Kenworth dealers. What I'm in is a much better truck called a volvo.Very new lol not very many dealers and we can't even call them till monday.Been down since Friday and got no plans in motion yet.
Sadly you can still get the tractor toys and they are still metal, sadly they are expensive, as far as going to get water , we go to our farm 2 1/2 hours away for the well water to make kolache dough like my grandma and aunt’s recipe, the kolaches taste better than when we use our water .
@@amysblessings it’s a bread dough that you put fruit filing in and bake it, you can also wrap the dough around sausage and bake it, people here in the city call that a sausage kolache but in shiner texas where myfamily is from its called a klobasnek or pig in the blanket. They are delicious, they are from Czechoslovakia. If you want some good recipes, just google how to make kolaches, if you try them you will be hooked.
You have not had any luck with the new tractors especially the silver bullet so why would you want to sell a old paid for dependable tractor like the hammer? Yeah sell it and go buy another def using pos new truck you have to constantly work on.
I had to laugh at going to grandma house to get water. I have 10 brothers and sisters and we all wanted Moms spaghetti recipe. So my sister went and made it with her. O you dump this much salt in your hand and this much pepper and lots of other spices. So as she dumped it in her hand my sister made put in boll and figured out how many tablespoons. When they got done my mom said that you will not call this my recipe. I have had many sisters in law and friends say that this was my recipe and it was terrible. So no you don’t call it my recipe.
You have had some misfortune. With a blown engine in the one combine and now truck problems makes one wonder if a person should get out of bed in the morning. . . . ouch.

Mine always breaks down just outside the warranty.

The farm technology these days is pretty amazing. My grandpa on his two row corn picker would never had imagined it.
True!
My grandpa had a 6 or 8 row his entire 63yr career. Or I should say he finished his career with 6 or 8. I’m sure he started by hand or horse.
