- With Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 now streaming on Netflix and shattering records, I recently got to speak with Matt and Ross Duffer (the Duffer Brothers) about making the newest season and what fans can expect in Season 5. However, before we get to that part of the interview, for today’s installment, I’m sharing our conversation about their MasterClass episode and how the Stern Stranger Things pinball machine happened.
If you’re not familiar with MasterClass, it’s an online platform where people from around the world can watch pre-recorded tutorials and lectures with experts in various fields. If you’re interested in everything from writing to food to business, they’re probably got someone you can learn from.
Which brings us to the Duffer Brothers MasterClass. While they’ve only created one series, it’s one of the biggest shows on the planet, so who better to teach people how to write and develop an original TV series. In a series of 18 videos, totaling over 5 hours, the Duffer Brothers pull back the curtain on how they came up with Stranger Things and even show the moment they came up with Eleven. You can thank their use of Google Docs for that moment.
In addition to talking about their MasterClass episode, they revealed how their Stranger Things pinball machine happened (you can thank David Benioff and D.B. Weiss from Game of Thrones), which brother is better, and Matt Duffer reveals the key to playing the game.

The Duffers Brothers have proven they are total geniuses and I can’t wait to see whatever masterpiece they create for Season 5!

Stranger Things: Wrath of the Beholder - Spin-off Series
Synopsis
This is set in 2009. The kids are older now, and they have children too. Mike and Eleven live together in Indianapolis with four kids, aged seven, twelve, seven, and three, near where Lucas and Max (Who is in a wheelchair) live with their ten year old, six year old, and newborn baby. Dustin has moved to Utah and now lives with his wife, Suzy, and their two kids, who are five and two years old. Unfortunately Will has passed away, and his old friends attend his funeral as pallbearers. Joyce and Jonathan vow to get revenge on the drunk driver that crashed into Will when he was driving home one night. Meanwhile, Steve lives with his wife Yvonne in the new Hawkins, which lies just outside the old one. Robin and her wife live nearby. Nancy and Jonathan are married, and have three children. Dustin, Lucas, Mike, Max, and Eleven love paying Dungeons and Dragons with their kids, but one day Dustin comes into contact with a Beholder in real life. He thinks it may have gotten from the upside down to the real world through one of the four gates made in Season 4. But then, super suddenly, he is zapped by the Disintegration Ray of the Beholder, and disappears, reappearing in the upside down. The Beholder won't stop until all the friends are in the upside down, and then he will zap them all with his most feared ray, the Death Ray! What will happen? Find out in this spinoff series on Netflix, coming out late 2023. (Disclaimer: Not actually real).

Stranger Things: Season 5
Synopsis
UNOFFICIAL PLOT: The Upside Down violently opens with fiery rifts in the town of Hawkins after Vecna succeeded in his plan. Eleven and her friends will find a way to stop Vecna and the Mind Flayer for the last time to prevent them from taking over the whole planet.
I hope the duffer brothers are planning something more apocalyptic with an invasion of monsters with an end of the world and a cataclysm me that's what I will see in season 5 of Stranger Things
I hope he foresees a Demon Gorgon army invading Hawkins in the 5th season and I guess everyone is going to have to fight to stop vecna eleven is going to need all the help they can get it's the people of Hawkins where the american army come to the aid of doctor owens and murray to kill vecna eleven will probably sacrifice this to save humanity his friends his family once eleven falls into the arms of mike eleven tell mike he suddenly loves Eleven dies in Mike's arms Mike in tears mourns the death of Eleven as well as all his family his friends even his adoptive father that's what I'm waiting for the 5th season of Stranger Things
