Nevis Range - Hidden Gully

A Scottish skiing adventure down Hidden Gully - usually a grade II winter climb at Nevis Range. From TeamSkiMountain (www.skimountain.co.uk) - the film starts off with an ascent of Ledge Route on Ben Nevis and also features some nice footage from elsewhere in the world including La Grave, the Queryas, Rogers Pass, and Lofoten but shows you can sometimes have just as much fun going back to your roots! A rope was used for the top 5 metres or so where an unstable snow release would have been nasty, but wasn't used after that (though you do see it being "pulled through" unattached while Kenny skis the narrow section).

Amazing video! Loved it, I tried Scotland last year at the start of the season but with no look, should have waited another few weeks. Hopefully I'll be back in early 2018!
