Mario finally gave clarification on Cam Ward not playing the 2nd half of the bowl game. While I appreciate his candor, he should have said something much earlier than now.
Given Cam's impressive contributions, anyone suggesting he quit on his team is clearly just fishing for attention or somehow can't judge character. Either way, it's not Mario's job to care about such nonsense. The people who truly matter: his teammates, family, friends, the NFL, and fans with a hint of common sense, never doubted Cam.

Donno, we need players that are smart, tough, disciplined and know how to tackle, block and do the hard things. We have been too soft on defense for too long. We need defensive tackle's that are disruptors. Those are the people that bring championships, not smurf wide receivers! Enough.
