I was in Munich airport back in June with some family. We went to Germany and Austria for 10 days. It was such an amazing trip, and very special to me because it was a dream of mine to go to Europe since I was very young

Munich has two terminals with the Gates A to L. (with I and J being reserved for special cases)
Gates J K and L are in the sattelite building where you need to take a shuttle Train between the G H and I gates in the main Terminal 2 and these three.
Gates A to E are in Terminal 1 and Gates F are for those originating in Munich and going to a country with heightened security requirements (mostly Israel)
But the transfer is usually a pretty seamless and quick process, very unlike some other airports or countries.

is enough time 1:30 hours to do a transfer between terminals? I am arriving from a Schengen country (Spain) and going to muskat, not sure if I will need to change terminals.

It should usually be enough, especially since you can use the transfer bus in the sterile area. Though please double check if any checked luggage is checked through or whether you need to pick it up and check it back in since you are changing airlines.@@toke182

How long did the whole process from alighting the plane to getting onboard the S-bahn take?

If flying into Munich from the UK and transferring to a flight to a non-EU destination, do you have to go through passport control or just go straight to Security?

I have a flight arriving 🛬 at Terminal 1 from non-EU contry (Oman air) and need to catch a flight (Lufthansa) 🛫 to Barcelona from Terminal 2 .

Is there any video guidance available?

Munich airport is famously not good. First, regular bag problem, since terribly organized. Not to mention legal robbery because the same distance to London costs much, much less than to Belgrade, at any moment.

I don’t like Terminal 2. It’s very stressful and complicated. I much prefer Terminal 1, it’s so much easier.

You should try using Frankfurt for transfer its a DISASTER 😱😱😱 and ground staff VERY unhelpful 😡

@@Merq-ko8di actually I used Munich terminal 2 recently and was very impressed. Well organised. Much better than the airports in the UK. If you ever go to the UK then avoid Bristol airport it’s the worst in the world.

Make sure to buy a train ticket they kind of frown at hop aboard trying to get a free ride. In the US its considered a hobo
