I admire you that you do not live an elaborate lifestyle even though you could. Most ppl tend to live above their means and get into lots of financial trouble. Thank God that I'm good with what I have though not extravagant. Living in a tiny house is really good for some but not for me. I live alone in a two bedroom house and I thank God for it. I love that! More family time equates to an unbreakable bond, growth, and better problem solving within the unit. The only area I don't think is very wise is a loft area for two adults... Yeah...sounds nice. But not in theory if one of you get sick or have an injury, it's going to make it difficult or example if she does get pregnant again. Can't be sleeping in the roof

You guys have confirmed what I have always tried to communicate with people...smaller living create more intimacy and familiarity and caters more to our needs rather than want. MORE LOVE!!! Much Respect!
I honestly think I could live in a tiny home, especially if my family is just my husband and child. My opinion is that you guys made the right call, regardless of the fact that there are restrictions on how big the house could’ve been. Say for instance you had a three bedroom house, two out of the three would’ve been unoccupied, which would mean that you’d probably need more heat to warm up a bigger house etc. so having a tiny family works perfectly with a tiny home! And if you guys build another house or move to another country, that’s an asset right there that Aura and future siblings can inherit or better yet, your retirement home. Proud of you guys, and my niece is happy and well taken care of which is all that matters at the end of the day! ❤
You starting small fitted perfectly in the plans you had for your home. As it relates to maintenance, that is important because a clean well organized house/ home, is like your little palace, which is very nice. Blessings upon this home I pray.
You guys have done an amazing thing! You are making sound choices and making decisions that works for your family. I don’t think you need to explain yourself to anyone and frankly as a 58 year old close to retirement, I honestly wish that I had taken more time to figure out my finances and enjoyed life on my terms verses what society expects. We all deserve to live as we please and I for one thank you for sharing your journey. I am trying to complete my tiny house journey and am so proud of your accomplishment.
Yes,in jamaica we grow up in small houses plus siblings shared 1 room.

Hi ya'll, great seeing your beautiful family again. Tiny house equals less cleaning & less expenses 🤔👍👏🤝. I have what could be considered a tiny house & sometimes wonder why bigger. Most larger homes is more work or cleaning service 😢. Maybe if more storage is needed y'all could add on an outdoor storage unit 🤗🤞. Aura is so beautiful & seems so contented 💖, that's very important & likewise both of you. Blessings & stay warm, bcuz it's cold here in FL, I could only imagine there😤😊.
This little beautiful aura is a combination of both her parents, but she looks a lot like mom.

Absolutely proud of you guys! All you need is God and love to make a house a happy home, not lots of space. As long as you’re comfortable, all is well. Aura is growing up so nicely. I just love seeing her navigate her own world. Just put God first in your life and keep loving each other and Aura.
I've never thought of downsizing to a small house but it's certainly not a bad idea for retirement. However, with 3 young adult sons I will need more space for when the grandchildren come to visit (in the future) so it may not work for me. 😂

I just love this entire cozy situation. I lived in a bachelor apartment that was way smaller and I did just fine with my hubby and my two massive dogs. And my kitchen was literally in my bedroom lol it cost $845 a month so I think y’all are doing great to save money. Kids love being around their parents and this is just amazing. And your baby is so beautiful 🙌

One question. If one of you the adults , let’s say May breaks an arm or leg, just thinking off top of my head, how are you going to get up in the loaft if you use thst as a bed room for yourself and your daughter is using the one bed room? Do you think you may need a second bedroom? Lovely place

❤ one of your oldest subs from PA USA. After falling in love with your story, I was hooked. Won't tell my story but still a romantic. Have a Brazilian long distant relationship and the struggle been long. My question is being a grand mother of 5 and great grand of 10 know how inquisitive they are so am concerned about how safe heating element and cooking arrangements for Aura. Yes I can live in small house after taking in fam off and on and making it work.
