I am at the stage of anger. I wish I or someone else could have helped. I am angry that the world failed Mike Howe. Mental health is so important and we missed it with him.
@@BrianClemI am at that stage now. I found Metal Church 5 months before you know what happened back 2021. Back then ill admit i was pretty nonchalant about it, sure i was sad but i didnt know the guy. But after looking at some interviews, this video and the new singer's HORRIBLE screams i wish things went differently, Another legend gone because noone fucking bothered to ask if he was okay.
RIP, Mike Howe. You will sorely be missed.

I am so happy that Mike Howe had the chance to return to Metal Church and do some new albums and tours these past few years. It really broke my heart when I found out that he passed away. It is hard for any band to have one legendary lead singer in their career, but Metal Church had two David Wayne and Mike Howe. I hate that both of them are gone. I love both the David Wayne era, and the Mike Howe era big time. The Mike Howe era will always have a special place in my heart because it is the first time I ever listened to Metal Church. I was barely 10 years old back in 1989 when I first listened to Badlands, and I instantly loved it and became a fan of Metal Church ever since. Blessing In Disguise and The Human Factor are classics and MASTERPIECES to me. Rest In Peace Mike Howe, and thank you for all the music. It really did help growing up be much easier.
I can't believe Mike is dead. I'm not the biggest MC fan but when I heard Blessing in Disguise and that singer, i was floored. Then, since Mike came back to the band, all I heard from people is how amazing Mike was as a person. Seeing interviews, I felt how he was a good guy, loved by so many. And his death touched me, more than anybody from the music world. Why? I hate the fact that nobody could help him, I don't understand.
Can't believe Mike is dead now too... It's awfully sad. My condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed by all of us

Like Warrel, I'm truly happy that Mike got to come full circle and make some more art with his band before he left us. My heart is heavy for his camp, and all of us metal heads.

Several days has passed now and I’m still shocked and crushed. This loss stung hard and will never be forgotten. I’m 44 and was 12 when I first heard Blessing In Disguise and was immediately taken by Mike Howe’s vocals. 2015, I was so excited about his return and was waiting in anticipation to hear what he would sound like after so long. Man, his voice was still massive and didn’t disappoint. He was very underrated and deserved more recognition than what he got during his time. He is and will be forever missed. R.I.P. Mike Howe

Do you know of Power Metal or the revitalization of classic Heavy/Speed Metal recently? Plenty of amazing bands with great singers that actually sing out there!
RandyVanHalen1 I admit I was a little overgeneralizing, yeah I know of some new bands and there are some good ones around.
I just listen to too many old bands and finding it harder and harder to listen to new stuff, I feel like an old dog sometimes :) I guess Mike's singing still leaves too much impression on me and I get carried away with my comments :)

I've heard lots and lots of musicians and singers come back after a 20 or so year hiatus and it's always been hit or miss. Some sound decent, others not so much. Mike Howe is the best come back vocalist I have ever heard. He is honestly better than he has ever been before!

An excellent singer indeed! Really glad he's back. I used to listen to and admire Mike's voice when he was still the singer for "Heretic". A great band - they had done a superb album in 1988, a year later Howe became the voice of Metal Church....
I never got to see them live. Back in 2018 the local promotor was trying to bring them into town and the band I was in was told we'd get the opening slot but it just never materialized.
Finally the true voice of Metal Church is back..!

Was tech on tour in 1994 around Europe... MC, Vicious Rumors ,Killers and Zodiac Mindwarp.. Saw them each night from side stage,,great live band.. Welcome back Mike...

I'm a huge Metal Church fan from back in the day. I'm pretty stoked to hear that they're back. This new album is unreal. What I've heard so far kicks ass and I think is another step up. The old stuff is awesome. The new music puts goosebumps down my spine. Take notice world. Metal Church is back!!!

Ohh, i still remember when i watched this video for first time. Holy! Mike returned to Metal Church, how exited i was (and still i am). It's a total shame the loss of his voice and life.
