I mean i think everyone knew that something like this was gonna happen but my heart still broke for Deke in that scene. Deke deserves the world! He's such a nice guy.

It hard to connect to her ever since S2. Her characterization has been all over the place since then. Even in this scene: "special people"? What does she mean by that. He sold her out to Kasius and Fitz ripped the inhibitor out of her. Seems like it was nothing more than an inconvenience that we are suppose to forget about. Even though the writers have made a big deal out of it.
Yes, you make sense. In the first seasons there was more scenes when we could see Daisy's feelings. Since Lincon is like she's being wearing an armor. Is a normal development in the character, after everything she's been through is normal she got tougher... but I miss scenes like this one, or the talk with Coulson back in episode 100.

And give her a break, her best friend and SO turned out to be Hydra, got shot in the gut and almost died, turns out her dad is a psychopath but actually really loves her, she was turned inhuman, watched her mom try to kill her, took the responsibility to be the protector of inhumans, got her mind controlled, had her boyfriend die for her, watch her friends get replaced by LMD's and trapped in the framework. Yeah of course she gets a lot of different characterizations, she's had one of the worst lives that someone could imagine.
I'm glad they didn't try to force this Daisy Deke thing. The only person Daisy has been into after Lincoln was Robbie Reyes at the end of last season. This would have been absolutely stupid so I'm happy to see this was properly ended.
I honestly thought this crush Deke has on Daisy came a bit out of nowhere, but Jeff Ward is playing it so well. This scene was perfect acting from both. Too bad that Daisy isn't going to have any more boyfriends.

I'm telling you Daisy really makes me think of Sarah Connor. Last year she fought killer humanoid robots with a shotgun(axe); now a guy from a post-apocalyptic future travels back in time and falls in love with her.
they were never gonna be able to keep Ghost Rider, honestly, be realistic, the show didn't have the budget to constantly use his special effects, not to mention he would exist as a deus ex machina to every single story and then they'd have to waste the time trying to depower him like they already do with Daisy, it would have dragged down the story - Ghost Rider works in small doses
They have (at least) 2 more seasons, that's plenty of time to bring Ghost Rider back, but it'll only work if the story calls for it, Ghost Rider would not have fit in season 5. And like others have pointed out the show doesn't have the budget to make Robbie a regular and they'd have to find ways to depower him.
I mean from his percpective hes never met his grandparents or any of the shield team members so he doesnt really see them as family not even his own grandparents

I think if they change the time loop that deke probably will vanish not to kill him off . But because he has not been born yet Jemma and Fitz have to have there daughter first .then she has to grow up and get married then have deke . And if the time loop is change every body is living in houses and not the light house . Polly is alive with her daughter Robin Flint is with his parents. Virgil is with Tess. .
If the timeline would be changed then Deke, Tess, Virgil and Flint will not be born. Their parents can met at different time or don't met at all so most likely none of them would be born.
But assuming that there is two parallel universe then deke wouldnt vanish because he's from that one which would also support how yoyo met her future self cuz theory wise you cant exist at the same time
And just a follow up..in that universe you cant reverse what already happened. So basically they are trying to fixed this universe so that it wont end up like the other one
