they tried with DC Legends, that game died in late 2023. there was potential, but it felt like devs never believed in the project - there were no new game modes for years, just a few new characters every month
@paranoidreplica9124 well legends was released before MSF and just couldn't compete. MSF is constantly adding events, mechanics and characters while legends stayed pretty much the exact same from launch. If there was almost an exact copy of msf with a dc paint job I'd jump ship in a heartbeat lol

Is it just me or are games like this just extremely boring? The combat is entirely just having characters battle for you. It's just sad that DC can't make a game that's just like MSF because if they did I'd switch over immediately.

There are no modern games out there with the same kind of turn based combat being actively produced(except star rail, which is for weeaboos, and games almost identical to MSF anyway), so this is what I have to work with. Sad that modern gaming companies don't make turn based combat games anymore. :/

Make those three legendaries and make them insanely good. Like you get Superman, you feel like he could absolutely destroy the world but he's just holding back. You get Batman, you feel like there's no situation he can't excel in. That sort of thing. Instead of them being some basic characters that you get at the start. Oh and importantly, you tell the player base when they're coming out and hype it like there's no tomorrow. But that's just my opinion and I'm not some marketing genius like whoever was behind marketing Louis Vuitton for instance.
They have different versions of those characters. The biggest problem they face is not nailing down one particular style of play. Dc legends was close but it was clunky, unimaginative combat and skill synergies were not refined to really showcase the iconic characters Dc dark legion and words collide are barely different. World's collide at least had a simple clean style focus. Dc dark legion however wants to be many styles. Base builder/shelter, Rogue mafia and idle/manual combat with as much emphasis on idle combat
Man what is wrong with DC cannot make a good mobile game. They can't even make something like Marvel Contest of Champions, Marvel Future Fight, or Marvel Strike Force? The only "ok" one is really just Injustice mobile, and to be honest that one pretty much sucks too since it recycle many stuff from Injustice console game instead actually a DC fighting mobile game like Contest of Champions

I fail to see the comparison between this and msf. Msf is a turn based game. High quality graphics and gameplay that brings all the characters to life. Objectively, it is as good as it gets and nowhere near trash as other turn based games such as the dreaded DC legends game 😆 This game isn't even on par with the mafia series games. That's what it should be compared too

It mostly looks like they figured out a way to make a base builder and a hero collector. So now they can charge you for both.
