I stand to be corrected but I personally think that the system is flawed for those upgrading their marks. Most universities accept upgrading students and when applying some do allow you to select that you’re upgrading your marks. However, they don’t actually consider your application until after maybe you have actually sent the new set of results to someone responsible for admissions. Now my question is, why would you make it an option for me to state that I am upgrading but then don’t wait for my new results to make a decision?
Well I have heard one guy who said he called the admissions office and let them know that he had sent his upgraded results and asked for reconsideration, take note of the fact that even if you meet the requirements with the upgraded marks it does not guarantee admission.
@@zinhleez3197 they were not that good honestly. I just met the minimum requirements. my marks improved a lot in matric and I guess that is how I was accepted

This is the first episode I watched of the podcast and wow what a beautiful concept you came up with👏👏👏👏 I hope it grows all the way to your psychologist, psychiatric, nurses, dieticians, social work etc and other students/young professionals in different faculties You really have something good going on here Dr Andy, when I was in grade 9 having to choose subjects in grade 10 I wish I was exposed to information like this, I would have made better decisions Well done babes.... I wish high school students see this

I also did chemistry without physics.. here in Namibia those are two different subjects... But some people did both of them.. Biology, physics and chemistry... Your content is very interesting Dr Andy❤
For me I did chemistry, biology and agricultural sciences but not physics.. but it's very complicated now.. because most of the science courses physics is strictly required 😢

You have to do BDS first for 5 years then you can specialize in Ortho

As far as I know once you upgrade and write the mark you had is cancelled and the new one is going to be used used

UCT doesn't offer Dental Science
But UWC, UP, Wits etc do dentistry
Wits does take new students. I am in 1st year😊
