Gee I am first on everything, View, Like and Comment. Missed you while you were gone. I had this fear that you might have given up on UA-cam. Was just getting ready to leave UA-cam tonight when I got your notification that you posted a video. Just made my night a good one. Glad your OK and that you will be back making videos. This video was like seeing a old friend who I hadn't seen in a while. Like you were catching me up on things in your life. Thanks so much Cody for posting and am looking forward to more videos from you. Things are shitty here for me medically. Tests keep coming back negative and they can't figure out what's going on. Feeling a bit down not knowing what is going on. Take care Cody. 🌈❤ ❤ ❤ 🌈
1st, glad you’re back and ok and with the situation resolved. 2nd, WTF is wrong with your clinic?!? Don’t they know that communication is key? Couldn’t/didn’t they offer counselling?!? Couldn’t they explain from the beginning that they needed to perform a longer test and so that the results would take a bit longer? And why make you wait a full month off the med to do the test when 10-15 days would have been more than enough?! Clearly your doctor durante know fully how the medication and the test work. In theory, if they were doing a long test, they could have done it with your initial blood sample, without having to wait, even if the drug was present in your blood... I’d say, in case of any other similar situation a) try to get a second and third opinion at another clinic, and b) call the Gilead PrEP line and tell them what’s up and get all the answers you need from them, including what’s the best procedure, where to go and who you could talk to. Also, if it’s happening that you test positive in rapid tests it can only mean that either you are developing HIV antibodies somehow and for some reason, which would be quite amazing and good news, or that there’s something wrong with the kits they have or the way they’re testing. 3rd, you were in the Bay Area for a bit and didn’t hit a bitch up?!?!? -_- Pity it didn’t work out, but don’t give up entirely, there are ways to make it work either if you have to live outside the city, or better yet, next time looking for something better located... all of course with some local friend’s help ;)
