My sister's eye doctor left and his replacement said she did not need any injections like her previous doctor was doing which was helping her greatly. She goes and sees another doctor and they told her that there is nothing they can do for her. I know there is someone out there that can continue giving her these injections and I will do what I can to find her one...
Well, that sounds way more personal and hopeful than what I ran into having just been diagnosed with early stage, dry, I would never have known, my vision is excellent - for now. Frankly some doctors seem a tad too dismissive and don't take enough time to really explain where you are at etc. when you get dry in the early phases. Like, well AREDS 2 is not really needed right now more likely a little down the road it may help. Well shit; we are talking nutrition here and no mention of that at all. I had to go home and look it up, not even a pamphlet from the guy. Just this eye test thing to do 2x a week. Nuts.
