Justine, I’ll swap minis with you anytime. I’m in the middle of making the jellyroll blanket too. I also am making 4 Jethro crochet jackets for 4 granddaughters😅. Mini’s needed here for everything. Let’s chat. Laurie, the Artus my next full project after when I can get there. Congrats on Everett! Enjoy him! PS finish his blanket. Congrats to Sam too😊
Congratulations to you all--babies are adorable!! I always love watching you two. I love finding best friends from a LYS!! I found several friends at mine before it sadly closed. Luckily we stay in touch weekly.
Baby Everett is the cutest! Samantha seems like a GREAT mom (loved the quick baby hand-off to Justine-smart mom to take breaks)! BTW, Lori, in Educstional Psychology, we call the high-pitched, small word sentence structure speech, used with babies (& yes,fur-babies too❤) is called "motherese" & is a natural human nurturing reaction to small beings we love! Lastly, speaking of love, I've never felt more seen than when Justine mentioned "martini knitting". As a process knitter myself, I constantly have something in my hands & learned the hard way cocktails & complicated patterns, do NOT mix.😅😂 TY for this virtual knit night session! ❤❤❤
Love the scrappy swap idea❣️ i would definitely participate😊 Great idea ~ and it was great visiting last week Justine. Missed you Lori, see you next time❤️
What a beautiful way to open.. meeting Samantha and Everett.. adorable. Your daughter and grandson are beautiful. Is he asleep, then burp... so hilarious. Socks... I want to knit some so bad. Trying for the 6th time on a different pattern. I get all messed up on N1, N2, etc. or I drop a tiny stitch and discover it later. Oh sigh.. I'll keep on trying. I love to listen to you both.. I feel like I'm with friends laughing, crying and sympathizing. It's wonderful. I love Lori's sweater, and Justine's top. Sweater has lovely detail on the top. Wow, silk shawl.. gorgeous!!! Love, hugs and prayers to you both.
I love catching up with you ladies, since I can't get there in person as much as I'd like! Omgeeeee- baby Everett is adorable! M.A.B.E.L class was so fun, BUT the shopping was funner- LOL :) I've already worn my popover and I'm obsessed 😍😍
I was riveted by the beginning of this episode because I was able to work on my decrease rounds for my sock and listen to you chat. The baby is precious. I always say my favorite Mother’s Day was the one where I had a stomach bug. 😂 I went in the spare bedroom with a tablet and watched only what I wanted. And my husband took the kids to church and the park.
I am using the magic knot on my scrappy blanket for changing colors. It’s a game changer! Kevin from NATR uses magic knot and made a huge cake so he can just rock and roll through it🥰
Enjoyed your podcast as always Just to let you know the Olympia vest by Claudia Quintanilla uses both the Kinu and Sensai yarns held together Claudia is a designer foe Ewe knits in Toronto
Churchmouse Airplane Scarf is a great pattern for Ito Kinu and Sensai. I made one out of the Kinu Prune color and purple Sensai and it’s gorgeous. Easy pattern and good for a beginner knitter. Fun podcast and a beautiful baby!
Oh yeah!!! When I saw there is a podcast up it was like the clouds parted and the sun came out! This is my idea of a win win - the dog’s sleeping and the couch is mine!! Love you ladies!
Yay!!!! Skein!!!!!! YAY. BABYYYYY!!!!!!! 7:04 we are Brandi fans - from the OG days 30:04 o way! I can’t quit youuuu!!!! 🥰 58:34 I would be SOOO IN for a scrap swap!!! Yesss!!! (Armchair chef does something similar) 1:15:47 ALWAYS “join-as-you-go”/JAYG granny squares, imo. No need to hand sew *shudder*
I would love to have a scrappy swap partner! I've always wanted to do one of these, but have never been able to get in on one. Usually I just hear about them after everyone swapped already. I hope this happens!
What a darling little boy. You both are a terrible influence to me, I fell in love with the ito sensai. What am I going to do about this new obsession 😅
Hi ladies, I love your podcast. Your rapport is so easy and friendly. Maybe it’s me but when you’re talking about a paid for pattern (Sophie Shawl), maybe you should be more careful about giving so much information while talking about the project. I feel like it gives away the pattern without the need to buy it. Thanks for another great podcast!
