I run b9eg all round in my NA rotors. Never have any fouling problems.

When I was 20 and commuting to work in my 87 RX-7 Turbo II the center electrode would shows signs of wear very quickly. I was changing the spark plugs every other oil change and the center electrode would go from a nice square edge at install to rounded dome appearance over 6k miles. I was using NGK plugs, had leading and trailing plugs, but I don't remember the temp range.

This could be unlikely/impossible on your engine's ignition design, but the only cause I've heard of for rapid spark plug electrode wear is if the actual polarity of the spark is backwards- apparently an ignition coil can be rewired wrong where it works fine but it causes the spark output to be negative instead of positive relative to the engine (I don't remember which polarity exactly), and the spark will eat away at one of the electrodes really fast. It might be only on old school wiring where it actually can be hooked up differently

Does the 12a use the same plugs on all four?
