hahah I clicked this one embarrassingly fast! These were just total knockouts for me. Such amazing shades, and they capture the inspiration so beautifully. So delighted to wear these over the holidays, as well. They look amazing on you! I don't really use liquid shadows together as a full look often, but you've really inspired me here to think about using them in ways other than as a one and done.
Wow, these are gorgeous 🤩😍! Your eye look was just lovely 😍. I appreciate the comparisons. Emily has been sold out and I've really wanted that one, but I think I'm going to go with Cressida. I was excited to see that it was more warm in your swatches than it appeared online. Thanks so much for this video ❤️❤️
Beautiful look and great comparisons! Your lipstick in the final look is perfection! I see Ditches in the description box, is that what you’re wearing in that part of the video?
You look stunning Kate! I grabbed all three and received them yesterday. They are beautiful in person as well. Very excited to start using them this holiday season 😊 love the entire look! The eyes, seamless skin, beautiful red lip 👌🏼
I’m so glad you compared to the lid lustres! I recently bought Velvet and it was so far from what I expected - thought texture, chunky glitter, fall out, eye irritation. I’ve never had that with a product before, but the swatches seem to be to creamy and emollient with refined sparkle - is it me?
Oh no! Sorry to hear that about Velvet - I don’t know if I can help - I’ve not had those problems, maybe you got a dud? If you haven’t contacted customer service, I would suggest that - perhaps they can help! ❤️
Love these new shades especially the inspiration behind them since I love historical fashion and theatre. They all look beautiful on you. I'm thinking about getting Cressida and Viola, but I'm scared that Viola may end up looking too dark on me, do you think it's possible to use this shade just as a wash of color (plum) on the eye without the darker base being too noticeable? Thank you so much for your help. Hope you and your beautiful fur babies are well and that you have a lovely holiday season. Thank you for your videos they have been a joy to watch this year. Many blessings and best wishes!💖
Hi Natalia! Great question - when I applied the first layer of Viola in this video, it was quite sheer - you could go a bit more sheer but not much because you need to have enough product to spread out. I’m going to post a photo on my community board of the sheerest layer of Viola swatched on my hand, so you can see what it looks like. Happy holidays to you too!! 🥰 🥰 🥰
Thank you, Kate! I love your lipstick with the velvet decade liner here. I’m going to try that! Btw: I have been mixing my metallic cream shadows with a tiny dot of colorfix cream pigments. It helps neutralize a tiny bit of the metallic finish and augment the colour. Something I’d like to try with Viola, since it was darker than expected (but such a beautiful finish!) cheers ☺️
Thanks Trisha!! It was a good lip combo! Love that tip, thank you for sharing it, and great idea for Viola - I have a lavender colour fix, so I’d like to try it with Bianca now! 🥰 🥰
I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that as a huge Shakespeare lover, I want them ALL! However, I restrained myself and bought only Titania (which arrived today). I personally prefer this over Zora, which was a bit of a purchase fail. It's a gorgeous colour, but the brown is too dark and deep and it's very fussy on my eyelids. Titania however, when I first swatched it today, looks a lot more wearable and lighter, so I'll get a ton of wear out of that one. Viola would've been my second choice (she's my favourite Shakespeare heroine), but since I splurged on Lisa's Myth palette and am not usually a purple/plum wearer, I skipped it. Which leaves Cressida - I was pleasantly surprised by your swatches. It looks warmer and deeper than I thought it would and this one might actually end up on my "want" list for next year :o
Hi Annie, loved hearing your thoughts on these shades and their inspiration! I think you made the right decision with Titania - definitely more wearable than Zara, and a great go-to. 🥰 🥰
I love all these shades! I know I wouldn’t be able to use them all before they dry up though. How well do you think Titania would work with Emily to add depth?
🥰 🥰 It could work, but I think it would be a subtle contrast.Titania has a deeper base but both reflect fairly bright so it may depend on the angle. I’m posting a couple of pics of a blended swatch of the two on my Communuty page 🥰
Hi Kate, that was fast. I didn't purchase any of those just yet. I love the look you did with all 3 together. At first glance I didn't thought Viola was jused in the look. But I love the result. I would go for Cressida. I am curious how this one compares to Hindash boy tears. I love the new gold bronze shade also, even I am not a gold girl there is something that attracts me in this shade. Maby the dark base. When Lisa wears this color together with the gold blouse, that looks so beautiful and festive. But Anais is also still on my mind. But I don't want to buy to much of these, I will be able to juse them up in the end. ( that is always such a dilemma). But thank you for the wonderful review.
So pretty! I skipped Viola but got the other two, so I’m going to try this look with just Cressida and Titania. And now I’m wondering why I skipped Emily. Ahh, Lisa!!❤️
Hi Alessandra ❤️ The formulas are very different, with the LE being liquid and the CT being powder. So the application process/experience is different. In terms of the look/ finish on the eyes, it depends a lot on the colour. Both formulas have certain shades that are more sparkly and certain shades that are more smooth metallic in finish, but overall the look on the eyes can be similar from both formulas! 🥰
thank you - that's really helpful. Have a great Holiday. FYI I've never really worn a lot of make up, mainly because I haven't got a clue what I'm doing or what I'm buying and therefore didn't really want to invest much money on it as I usually end up looking like a clown and throwing whatever I've bought away, but your channel is amazing, its so informative and if I've learnt something its, if the formula is right applying make up is a lot easier. thank you x
Wow, this was very helpful. I now know I don't need VB Tea Rose since I have Anjelica, but I need to pick either Titania or Velvet since they are too similar to have both (that confirms if I get any VB e/s it will be Mink).
Great video! I can't decide which color(s) to get but I'm interested to know if you've experienced any fallout from any of the shades. My apologies if I missed you saying it. :)
Thanks! I haven’t experienced any fallout from any of these. They are pretty budgeproof once they set down. It’s been a while since I used the Stila ones (I think I only had glitter and glows) but from memory, they had a more sheer base but the glitters were bigger 🥰 🥰
@@KateFace21 thank you for taking the time to respond so quickly. :) I have the stila ones and was concerned that they would be too similar. The glimmer and glow may be similar, but it sounds like there is enough of a difference to justify buying the LE. The colors look beautiful and unique. Thanks again and have a great day!
Thanks for the quick review! Is Titania pretty similar to the VB Bronze Kajal? Seeing it swatched out immediately brought it to mind. I'm definitely going to grab some more of the Lurex's soon!
@@trisharobinson7623 That's a good point! Bronze is my favourite kajal shade, so I'd be thrilled to have something more suited to all over the lid looks. & wondering now if the kajal could stand up as a smidge of a deeper liner on the lurex. 😍
Thank you! The only purple shade I used was Viola - started with the sheer wash and then built it up, then after adding the Pearl and gold, back into Viola for liner!🥰🥰🥰
@@KateFace21 yeah I know .. I’m wanting my palette more than the liquid one lol and you look beautiful Kate that lighter one is gorgeous.. I’d have loved the plumie one but I struggle with those shades.. how’s you all doing ? Xxx

@@KateFace21 that’s fab Kate I hope you get more to come 🙏🏻 and getting ill everyone’s ill here and it’s got me now 🙄 hopefully be good for Christmas 🙏🏻xxx
I can't believe that you didn't introduce us to your cat! I'm more familiar with the liquid eye from Armani. What I like to do is tap the liquid shadow on my lid and let it dry. Almost like a primer. Then, if I want a finished eye look, I do my crease and line with a powder shadow. It's much quicker than trying to do an entire eye with a product like this. Thanks for the swatches and the video. Happy Holidays!🎄🤶🏼💚
Clicked the second I saw your thumbnail! 🤗 Am meant to receive these in the mail tomorrow after what felt like forever!! An utterly beautiful look on you as always. Can’t stress how much I had been looking forward to seeing your video trying these out on your eyes and swatching against Starlight, Diamond Eyes, Velvet … but also the Auric Entice and Rapture? Not fully sure on the latter one’s name, however, believe you mentioned it when discussing the PMG chromaluxe pigments in your last video… perhaps not similar at all. Also so torn whether to pick any of those chromaluxe pots up! And curious if you ended up going for any of the Rituel de fille eye soots? 😅
Yay! Thank you! You’re asking all the right questions 😆 I think the aurics will be different, but definitely worth comparing - I’ll try to post on my community tab tomorrow. As for the ritual de fille, yes! I ordered the two shades I wanted 🥰🥰
