Same, they’re already pricing at a point where people are mostly buying on impulse rather than reason, I really doubt they’ll push their limits further… We’re talking about half the average persons monthly salary for a gpu, this isn’t 1912 most people live by their means to an extent and you can only push second market skeptics so far in the wallet department before they start buying 2 generation old cards that give them insane performance they won’t regret Nvidia is on a thin line where the pricing could easily push consumers to either buy used or buy Radeon, they’re already insanely rich and they’re already gouging tf out of their consumer cards it just makes no sense for them to go too much further Then again the 2020s so far have shown us the new era of business is simply maximizing short term profits and bailing after everything’s crumbling down, plenty of shows, games, movies, music etc demonstrating this, where they feel super generic yet have mind boggling budgets, it’s almost like most of the money isn’t actually going towards making quality products people will naturally flock to anymore, they don’t care about brand loyalty because they have no intentions of long term sustainability. I don’t know if we will see nvidia fall into that, it’s very unlikely but stranger things have occurred.

Why would any gamer need the 5090 card, Nvidia would have to feature lock something already offered because all games made have to be tiered for possible console launch. Which means no matter how OP the GPU's get, we're at the mercy of big companies who have to cater to console hardware for limitations on there game to achieve maximum sales because capitalism! I just don't see any reason to hype 5090 other then its intro helps reduce the 4090 price which is a blessing lol

Riley: It's not Porsh, it's Porsh-eh
It's also Guh-noam, Jiff and Cue-tea, but if you pronounce them that way, someone invariably steals your lunch money. Even when you're in your thirties!
@@GSBarlev everyone agrees that pronouncing the e in porsche is correct, but they also agree not to care. However, pronouncing gif with a j is objectively wrong, regardless of the opinion of the inventor
0:34 "the cards will be based..."
Say no more.
Music was a bit too loud and distracting on this video.
2:45 this is huge now tv will probably have a nice processor instead of bs
That intro was ridiculous lol.
I'm glad you kept the carcinization joke. It was hard to make that one hit but it was a good joke.
4:00 Disco something something
This intro demands a compilation video be released including all past intros.
_not because we want it,_
_because we deserve it_
4:12 Apple did actually release the new MacBook Air lineup with M3 last week… but did not release the new iPads yet, probably waiting some time for the press to focus on the new MacBooks.
Arrow Lake and Blackwell are going to be crazy
crazy expensive?
@@anonemp and crazy hot
there are a lot of "tricks to get more FPS from your system" but the biggest increase i ever saw was from enabling resizable bar on my system. accelerated gpu scheduling was like 1-2% ... undervolting and memory overclock was like 3-5% but resizable bar gave me 10%. It's truly an amazing feature, that delivers - unlike a lot of the "tips and tricks" we see out there.

Wake me up when GPU power draw and prices come back down to earth.
So you have chosen death
You do realize that the 40-series is pretty power-efficient, right?
@@rustler08 Only when compared with older nVidia GPU's; 450w draw for any single component in a PC is a joke, but then I guess if you buy a 4090 then the ever-increasing cost of basic survival isn't much of a concern for you.
gotta turn down the music next time, i'm distracted from the NEWS
Excuse me but it’s pronounced Porsche
All this time I thought it was Porsche! Thanks for the correction.
You can play youtube videos in the background on your android for free:
1. Load youtube in web browser (not UA-cam app)
2. Select "Desktop" version of the page
3. Click play on the video you want
4. Switch to any other map/lock phone
5. Bring down taskbar by swiping from top, and press the "Play" button to keep playing "media" in browser.
Always count on NVIDIA to scam you out of your money
✨The Apple Way✨
Can you guys do a video on the resizable bar, how to do it, and what the requirements are? And what the real benefits are
I'm looking into it now, it requires a BIOS mod which i've never done before but I think I'm doing it right so far, hopefully this shit doesn't brick my motherboard though.
I think Nvidia will keep the 5000 series close to the 4000 series MSRP.
Same, they’re already pricing at a point where people are mostly buying on impulse rather than reason, I really doubt they’ll push their limits further…
We’re talking about half the average persons monthly salary for a gpu, this isn’t 1912 most people live by their means to an extent and you can only push second market skeptics so far in the wallet department before they start buying 2 generation old cards that give them insane performance they won’t regret
Nvidia is on a thin line where the pricing could easily push consumers to either buy used or buy Radeon, they’re already insanely rich and they’re already gouging tf out of their consumer cards it just makes no sense for them to go too much further
Then again the 2020s so far have shown us the new era of business is simply maximizing short term profits and bailing after everything’s crumbling down, plenty of shows, games, movies, music etc demonstrating this, where they feel super generic yet have mind boggling budgets, it’s almost like most of the money isn’t actually going towards making quality products people will naturally flock to anymore, they don’t care about brand loyalty because they have no intentions of long term sustainability.
I don’t know if we will see nvidia fall into that, it’s very unlikely but stranger things have occurred.
It’s not Porsche, it’s Porsche.
only need to sell my kidney to get one
And still be short...
no with the new ones you need 2
I hope more than 5 people get the Disco Elysium reference, that game is straight up amazing and it's such a pity we will probably never get a second one now.
4090 been treating me very well, hopefully I get the 5090
It Hz when I Freesync.... first chuckle of the day, thank you sirs
absolute fire opening - Rieley kills em dead
0:28 I thought he was Romanian because that's exactly how hooves, like cow hooves (plural) is pronounced (spelled copite).
I got a 4090, I don't care again until the 2030s.
let's see about that
Is that when you finally pay off the loans for it?
4090 is already outdated
Insulidean Phasmid! I love you for that reference!
Please get rid of the annoying voice in the background. Please!
I was worried. For a minute I thought we be denied the bliss of a Timmy impression.
Good guy Kimi Räikkönen, retired from Formula 1 to give us tech leaks!
I like the addition of the music. It's a bit repetitive, so might switch up the song a few more times, but I like the background levels.

Who would had guessed there will be a Pixel 8a.
But now that I think of it that makes total sense!
3a, 4a, 5a, 6a, 7a, 8a...
00:43 No, that is completely wrong. They are two different dies. A cut-down die is when part of the die is defective or disabled, and it's sold as a less capable product as a result.
4:03 Disco Elysium. Love that game!
I got the Insulindian phasmid reference! Incidentally, I'm also on Firefox.
Bus width is cool, but more vram itself is even cooler
Riley spitting bars. Gold bars.😅
I'm looking forward to a 5070 with a 128bit bus.
What does it matter if the RAM itself is much faster?
"AGI will emerge from the fire, of being sued constantly." lmao. Gunna put this on a t-shirt
The machines rose from the ashes of the nuclear fire
the 5000 series is so expensive that will make people start buying 4000 series more, Ngreedia common W.
My question remains about the 5090. Why would 98% of gamers need one when the 4090 will get a massive price cut or rebuy value on the used market, and a 4090 already does every game at 100fps+ at 4k.
Riley returning to crab was all that stuck for me ngl. And it has made my day better :D
Bought a dual 1080Ti machine in 2017 for 3D and rendering. Didn't upgrade it til July 2023 with a single 4090...I was expecting to be blown away. I wasn't really. These upgrades are so marginal. It's handy I can render in real time slightly faster and carry out changes quicker but it's not the upgrade I was expecting. So if you're thinking you need a 5000 series card, you don't.
It alwasy baffles me how google is so adamant on taking away background play, such a basic function and need, only to charge you for it to get it back. It's why I use revanced and will refuse to pay google a single cent for premium unless they get their shit straight.
Yes, 5000 series due to GDDR7(and potentially bigger buses) don't need a lot of cache so they can have more cuda cores.
