For today's breakfast, I cooked "sarsiadongg isda" and "kinirog". It's simple but yet delicious, satisfying and nutritious. Thats a South East Asian country which focusing to agricultural method to live,its natural to see,in African continent its difficult to witness this type of atmosphere due to conflicts

I wish I could visit the Philippines, my mom's native country after this pandemic, or when I turn 18. Thank you for sharing this slice of life in your countryside. My mom loves to cook Filipino foods and other mouth-watering stuff, and now I know that like you, she must have been well-trained in using earthen stove, pots, firewood, and relying on whatever ingredients readily available around the house.

That's the barrio living , try to go to one of Philippine island , they wake up very early , the 6 am is late, take breakfast usually cup of coffee, sinangag or just pandesal. simple but happy

I was born and raised in Manila and I really envy life in the countryside. It looks so serene and peaceful. That sarsiado and fried rice also looked very delicious and eating in the open air was just incomparable.
I grow up in the barrio of makilala cotabato in Mindanao, Philippines, what I've seen on the vedio is the same thing of what we were doing in our village. We live in simple, happy and contented life. I miss those happy days very much. Now I am 70. Kudos to this young boy who demonstrated the real way of life in the country side. Thank you God bless you.

My daddy was from Ilocos Sur and such a wonderful cook. I also was raised on Philippino food. Watching this video brought back such wonderful memories of my father. I miss him so much.

I'm Filipina-American. It makes me feel happy and connected to our motherland. Coming from being born American and made to only speak English. It hurts to know I will never know what this feels like. 😩😭
Why not try and visit, even just a holiday, we only got one shot in this life. I'm also Filo-American and reside in the Bay area. Twice a year, I visits my relos in Sambuanga, and Baguio and they live in similar farms and houses like this dude. It's pure heaven. The Philippines is one of the most beautiful, magical not to mention unique country on Earth. As the great John Mellencamp says, Check it out.

And even then, there's a disconnect because I wasn't born there. My grandmother's lifestyle was exactly like this, and even though we have a good house, money to shop, and consoles to play games in, I still chose to live for several months with my nanay. This kind of lifestyle teaches me to appreciate nature more. You should try living this kind of lifestyle guys it's really refreshing

Finally, I’m coming home this Christmas after 3 years in the city and I can’t wait to live in the province again and go to our Bukid which literally have this same ambiance, except we have ilog and sapa there. And I’m just so excited to take a break from work and live this life again.
