Nice to see this car getting some recognition. I’ve got the same car (just in black) , same engine with the same stage 3 set up. I got the eco mode tuned out tho as it used to get on my tits
I love the car, can’t fault it. Fun to drive, decent mpg and surprises many cars. Mine runs around 250/260 👍🏻
The money he’s paid to get it to 300bhp might aswell of just bought a cupra and stage 2 it guarante it will pull past it
I had a fiesta st180 a few years back with an s280 turbo running 386bhp the st would’ve killed this lol however, still a fun little car on a back road 👍🏽

impossible to get out 300 on the ea211 is even less with a hybrid and without cooler the maximum is 220-240 take out your passage to the bench
Yes agreed. I’d love to see a dyno printout for a claimed 300bhp! I’ve got a BlueGT and never seen one on the internet with more than 230/240 bhp. The engine was designed for economy and torque but not big horsepower.

@@Finn_Perkins Tuning capability alone a Ibiza FR would come out on top. Noise if you’re talking supercharger a R53 In particular would win hands down. Both cars fantastic platforms I’m sure in their own ways.
The rs7 is also a good hatchback, a bit heavy but will still run a low 10 second quarter mile stage 2, i had 2 they were decent all round. Decent on backroads as well due to quattro, always a contender for a performance hatchback.

All these ST boys crying, putting a rear anti roll bar on ibizas make a massive difference never mind all the other handling mods also
I’ve got a Cupra 1.8, mod for mod they piss on st’s but an st is 10x better at handling that ibizas, not bad at handling, but nowhere near an st
