Ahhh good to know! I also didn’t know why Umar wasn’t there, but their camp had a few fights last week and this weekend that I’m sure some of those guys helped fill in for while Islam & the guys with him traveled to NJ.
He doesn't need to go to US and process his VISA because he'll gonna fight in Abu Dhabi. He will fly straight to UAE and train in UAE for sure

Islam talked about it on the Josh Thompson's podcast. Theyre training at Khabib;s gym in Makhachkala as they have a lot of good 135ers there to train with. Guys like Magomed Magomedov. Wont be possible to bring so many people over.

Yeah, we ended up finding that out later on, but it was awesome to see nonetheless! They definitely had several training sessions together! 👏🏻

I get the impression that Islam isn't as focused as previously, and certainly not as much as Khabib. The watches and cars...this stuff is getting to his head. He should look at Conor as an example of what happens with materialism. The reason these Dagestanis have been unbeatable is their focus, and ISlam shouldn't forget that.
You think? Honestly, they were in New Jersey almost a month before the fight. From my end, following their every move, they were just having some fun before the last bit of hard work (aka the weight cut). Khabib is now in town, so Islam has been dialed in, no more fun. He definitely still does! Javier has been there with them from the beginning, I think he’s probably a little less hands-on the last few weeks cause they shouldn’t be going too hard before the fight. The focus is keeping Islam in good spirits and then the weight cut. But Khabib definitely gives me the vibes that he’s the Head Coach in charge.
