Vivzie was the nurse at the beginning, she has almost become a regular background performer at this point.
We finally got a Millie (well, Millerd) song, so I am pretty content. Is it bad that I unironically enjoy that 80's power ballad?
The 80's power ballad was my lesser favorite of the ones we got (well, aside from Moxxie's song which was supposed to be bad) but man I was just happy to have good diagetic musical numbers again!
love seeing someone enjoy regular joe just as much as I do (and the whole episode actually, it really grew on me a lot) 😂🖤
I thoroughly loooved this episode. It's so cool and wholesome that the gender swap wasn't to make fun of anyone- it's just because that's the character they genuinely wanted to play. This show is such a bi fantasy at points cuz how could Millie get any finer?!
I will say from season 1, my least favorite episode was episode 4 C.H.E.R.U.B. From this season, it my least favorite would be this episode of Unhappy Campers. Both just felt like filler episodes with the exception being the stuff with Barbie at the end of this one. Everything else felt really pointless and cringe fueled. That being said, I still absolutely love the Helluva Boss series and can't wait for the next episode of Full Moon. Especially since the song "Look My Way" dropped and broke literally everyone's hearts.
Have to say, even tho I liked the episode and its nice that Milly got a moment to shine. Tho I have to say its bit sad seen Mox get jelous of Milly considering shes very "all in no matter what" for him, I feel like it she was fully justified in been so mad at him for acting like a prick in this episode. Also idk why they didnt say they where boyfriend and girlfriend feel like it would have solved some issues for them at the end hahaha. Milly's song was also pretty fun and the stuff with Blitz and Barby was also a nice catch up to that plot thread, tho I did think at the start that Blitz was sneaking in to see Stolas
The Moxxie related cringe definitely dropped this episode pretty far down in my rankings, initially, and it’s still one of my least favorite episodes for that reason. However, upon repeated viewings, I’ve been able to find a lot that I appreciate in the other parts of the episode.
I like Millie’s song and the power ballad she performs to. I like the Barbie and Blitzø related stuff. It was nice to have the gang on Earth again, doing a hit. It was cool to see an Asmodean crystal for the first time. I liked the designs for both Millie and Moxxie’s human disguises a lot. Etc.
Also, considering that Moxxie and Millie have only been married now for a year and a few months, (and I suspect they didn’t date for a super long time before getting married) I think it’s genuinely important that they actually had a disagreement here and then worked through it together. It’s important for healthy couples to know how to argue without it completely blowing up. It’s important to know how to communicate your needs and listen to your partner doing the same.
Moxxie let his pride and stubbornness fester and get in the way of proper communication, which led to them both getting angry, but once Millie expressed just how upset she was, Moxxie was able to listen, apologize properly, and work to correct the situation by showing his sincere support for his wife. I think that’s really nice to see. And hopefully, they’ll learn and be better about not letting things get to that angry point in the future. 😊
