- In our final episode of "Muslims Explored," we connected locally with Maria, 16-year old teenager from South-West Sydney who is legally blind.
Despite being diagnosed with a rare condition - which will lead to eventual blindness - she continues to exceed expectations - beginning university at the age of 15 years, actively participating in the community and continuing her pursuit of sacred knowledge. She hasn't let anything stop her!
More importantly, she sees the world through a different perspective, through a lens of trust, contentment and gratitude in her Lord, Allah.
Her story's inspiring those around her and hopefully her story will inspire you too!

There are a people on this earth that when they are in the middle of a huge storm, there is a calm inside of them. May Allah cure her illness, restore her eyesight and bless her. (There's also a camera lens that can be inserted into the eyes...I know of someone who was completely blind and now can see with the camera lens)
It depends on which part of the eye which is getting affected. Since her retina has gotten affected, not many treatment options are available (as far as I aware of)........
@@Ram-yn3b May Allah help her and all of those who are going through the same thing. The camera lens I'm referring to is after the eyes have become completely blind.
