I think Andrew is given an unfair shake at being a good Spider-Man because everybody wanted a SM4 instead of this and right after him was the MCU version - which I absolutely think is the worse rendition of Spidey. Andrew was a good Spider-Man and TASM1 was a good movie as well. I understand that TASM2 was 2 steps back and had a different theme than the 1st one but it had it’s highs such as the the opening “friendly neighborhood scene” Peter-Gwen scenes and the deleted Peter-Richard cemetery scene. The actors acted the shit outta this as much as they could too.
I don't usually like love stories in movies or care for them, but their story broke my heart. I have never seen a more real, more human, more meant to be connection than what they had. I hope this version of their love lives on forever in our culture and ethos.

I disagree, I think the Amazing Spiderman got so many things right, that its right up there with Raimis version, mayvbe even better, in my humble opinion.
