Try cleaning out the fridge thoroughly, wipe it down with disinfectant then put two boxes of baking soda in it. While doing that, keep the freezer open and throw out any old foil wrapped foods, Tupperware that's old etc. Put a lot of boiling hot water and an old towel inside. Scrape away melting ice then put the 2nd box of baking soda in it. Bad taste be gone! Sounds like a lot but takes no more than an hour. 😃

Hi 👋🏼 this is just from The waterline that connects to my refrigerator .. but I do no that the longer you let halfmoon ice sit.. the whiter it gets.. another tip: if you really want white ice use carbonated water for portable ice machine.😉.

Another tip if you using ice trays: shake it up and get as much of the carbonation out as possible.. otherwise it will bubble over in the freezer 😉
