Another tip I like to give everyone if the item sits longer than a week re upload it cause gives it a higher chance to sell I’ve done this so many times and it sold faster than just having it sit there
Always a good move if items have gone stale!

I never really thought about the production quality or branding on these apps before, but it is brilliant and makes total sense. Any way to stand out really helps.
My goals are
1. make some extra cash.
2. practice my copywriting skill which I have just started to learn.
3. clean my house by getting rid of excess crap
4. get some practical sales experience
5. downsize the things I own so I can more easily escape the country if it goes full communist. (if you know you know.)

I would really appreciate another vid on presentation, pics and more clarification about how to get a “sheen” on items. Also, can you explain things as if we were 3? (Famous line from movie, anyone know which movie?). Some people have the best intentions when making a video but then end up assuming the audience understands your references. Thanks bud

I think you’re confusing OfferUp with eBay, or other platforms lol I edit photos for eBay its requires white background with professional photos like it’s a business. Never ever edited photos for OfferUp and I sell 200 - 300 a month on OfferUp without fancy background. As long as your photos are clear with good lighting, close up so it displays large in the search and you relist by deleting and sell another to be on top of the page every week. no need to waist time editing for OfferUp thats my opinion, issue is people list once and forget it. If you’re going to take so much time and make it look professional maybe you should list it on eBay get more money. 🤔

What are the positives and negatives of incorporating pictures of your product that were taken off the manufacturers website. IE Apple, clothings, pottery barn products etc? Also using their descriptions?
Positives are an accurate description, there really aren't any negatives.

You don't check multiple platforms for an average price?? Ex. Ebay, Amazon, best buy, other stores prior to listing price??
I usually do, but if I'm selling on offerup my directo competition is people selling on the app itself, so that is mainly where I base prices off of to compete with those sellers.

Don’t bother. OfferUp isn’t working now. Your account will only be active for maybe an hour then will become inactive for days if not months. You will have to email their support system and you’ll get a generic response stating a technical issue. Then you’ll be active for a few minutes and then the issue begins all over again. You’re better off trying other selling platforms.

Why does this guy have under 1 mil subs?
I'm trying to sell a modded ps3 super slim 500gb with 36 digital games and pkgi store to download every game for free at just 160 dollars and I did it soooooo cheap and still fucking ppl just don't want it isn't prob the best deal in offerup. This makes me hate humanity
