I believe it depends on what the standard is. Like for example, I can't expect my significant other to always be available whenever I am. We're in a long-distance relationship. He lives in a shared household with his best friend, so he gets his dose of being social from his bud. Therefore he can from time get tired of being social generally. He works from morning till evening, so he usually has 6 hours with free time. 2 hours making dinner and eating it, he's left with 4 hours where he can do whatever he wants. Time passes very quickily, especially if he's gonna watch a series/movie with his bud, and or play games. Meanwhile me, I hardly go outside because of covid. Also, most of my friends live far away atm. A dog doesn't have to deal with being a human and has all the time, which is great. lol
Hi! Great video!! I would like to ask a question, if we have expectation, should we tell a partner about it? Or better we stay in silence and internalize it our own way? Thankyou so much
Michelle, share your expectations and what they mean to you. If you internalise, you will be unfulfilled as your partner has no idea what you are seeking. In order to be successful in life, one must have expectations of that success, be in business, relationships, health, etc. The expectations you have of another, you must have of yourself also. EG. If you want respect, you must give it to yourself and others. Hope this helps.
I don’t quite like the broaden situation.. so let’s say she and her friends are negative and gossipy and talks down about their significant other ? What now ? Is that okay ?
everyone should watch this...thank you:)
Yup. People are super focused on connection in America in marriages. That's why marriages are falling apart for many decades now.
This video is pretty underrated
Thank you I’m learning to manage my expectations 😊
But what's the point of getting married if a dog could be so much more satisfying than this person that you keep lowering the standard for.
