@@DrawTaken I think this is more a general comment. Paul Grey was in Slipknot, doing background vocals. Corey Taylor was the leading vocalist in Slipknot and the leading vocalist in Stone Sour. So there's a connection. And fans cross over these lines all the time. So I think he's just making a general comment to all like-minded fellows.
Either that or he's just confused and doesn't know what band this is, because it's not Slipknot. But points for effort! 👍

I've been a huge Slipknot fan for some time but I never paid much attention to Stone Sour because a lot of their tunes were pretty mellow compared to SK. But this tune?.....I friggin' dig it!

This song honestly has a little bit of everything. Kind of heavy, but not without melody either. You've got a little screaming, driving metal guitars, pounding drums throughout, kind of "old made new" guitar solo. Just overall a really epic track.

Hmm.. I just realized.. I see this video as a man struggling between light and darkness.. Being absolute zero because he is neither/both.. "You're looking at an absolute zero..I'm not the devil but I won't be your hero" at the end it shows him slamming both buttons.. At the beginning it seems to show him swaying towards the darkness, but it seems he is having a hard time doing it because he knows it isn't right.. But there is a part of him that is drawn to it (man being a 4 letter word [the darker side of human nature]... Humanity being drawn towards the darkness/earthly pleasures they know aren't good for them. ) then it shows him swaying to the light.. But if he goes to that, then he would have to give up his darker desires entirely.. So he can't choose neither.. He chooses both. I could see it being a struggle between good and bad.. "This life feels like a prison" I don't know.. Just a thought. Not saying I'm right.. Just a different viewpoint to throw out there.

I don't know about y'all, but I think it's complete bull shit how everyone is getting so close minded about music! They try to make a band fit into one specific genre and don't want them to go outside of that like Corey was fussing about them labeling Slipknot as nu- metal and music being so compartmentalized! Which in reality they would fit into several different genres depending on the song or album! What the hell would you put A7X under, considering they have the same outlook on music!!
