    We marvel at your trees Peter while you marvel at the trees you have seen on your trip to Taiwan. You know it proves one thing if you are very rich you can buy anything and anyone you desire to work on trees you have, I am sure he will have a team of skilled workers doing the day to day work. As magnificent as these trees are it is difficult to interact with trees of their size,you can’t pick them up and caress them as you can with smaller trees. Peter A kid in a candy shop. Thank you again for letting us into your trips.

    Wow the size comparison of some of those trees is crazy, they don't look so big until you stand beside them. That's the kind of bonsai I'm going for, the larger size ones. Chu Bonsai or Dai Bonsai I believe they are called. I do like some smaller ones as well though.

    Taiwan gets a lot of rain that help to keep them so healthy. In California it seems a challenge, it’s not the heat in summer it’s the low humidity. Fabulous collection ❤

    I'm sorry, but if I were as rich as Peter says about the bonsai owner, the first thing I would do is move to a quiet and peaceful place. The traffic noise is terrible and the emissions will certainly cause long-term damage to these valuable plants.

    • @IntrinsicRoots
      @IntrinsicRoots 11 місяців тому

      Train your mind and you can find peace in any place, at any time. You don’t need to be in a “quiet” place to find peace of mind.

    • @ws4860
      @ws4860 11 місяців тому

      @@IntrinsicRoots Softened nonsense. Ok, maybe I can push the bad noises into the background, but they stay there, maybe even at an even more unhealthy level.
      The emissions will certainly never go away with your "method". I live in the middle of large forests and know exactly the difference between apparent and real peace, and I also know the smell of really clean air.

    While these bonsai are without a doubt beautiful works of art, there is a certain vulgarity to this particular style. It’s crass, artificial, forced and lacks the zen flow of the Japanese philosophy.
    If you enjoy this bonsai on steroids, I can understand that absolutely. For me, it’s a bit of a turn-off.
