Right after my son was born when I was 40, I took him in a stroller to get a cup of coffee at McDonald’s. The little girl cashier automatically gave me it to me for 25 cents, the senior discount price at the time. I went home and told my family and we had a good laugh and I was happy I only paid a quarter. Couple of weeks later, it happened again with a different little cashier! I realized they thought my son was my grandchild, not my own child! I was still tickled to get cheap coffee! I have come to realize age is just a random number and I don’t let it affect how I see myself. Now, at 60, I happily accept senior discounts and enjoy saving money! Embrace your age and be happy to be going strong!
I don't know what your hubby looks like but a couple of thoughts... People can suck and be snits... Good on you for laughing about it. Better on your hubby for defending you and having a few words about it. I have watched your channel a few times and find you funny, pleasant, and upbeat. Keep at it!!! :)
I am 5 years older than my husband. You and your husband are too cute and obviously you both love each other. I really enjoy your videos. You are fun and it is like we are having a conversation about all things positive. You keep being you and don’t worry about others. I actually think you could pull off those large hearts with a denim dress or such.
Hi,so nice to catch up with you,I've been sitting in hospital with my hubby since January 11th,he fell at home face down and broke his neck had surgery and now I'm asking for Prayers for complete recovery I've not left his side so long days and nites love listening to your videos,calms me down,takes my mind elsewhere! I love watching your hauls and seeing what you buy, i love the earrings and the cards, stickers etc esp the vintage, woodland and Alice in wonderland omg love those! i have a woodland setting on my mantel on top of the fire place and i made bunting to go across it using cards, love it.

Hi Sharon. Absolutely NOT do you look like Gareth's mom!! The take away I get when you are together is that you are a loving and happy couple!! If you think about it, will you show the bobbin holder once you add your bobbins? The document stickers that you showed would be great to collage on a "master board" and cut into tags/pockets/journaling cards. The fashion girl paper pack would be great in a sewing theme journal. Great haul--I am going to check on TEMU (I want the document stickers you showed). ps: you have the greatest laugh and smile (and razzle-dazzle hands LOL).

I've noticed Temu has been changing and not letting you keep things. I sent back a couple of big things and a couple of $1 or $2 things. They wanted everything back - so I sent it all back. But, back in the day, I think they would have let me keep a couple of things. I sure hope they don't change too much or I won't be shopping there any more.
