- A look inside the lives of the band!
www.rizzoliusa...
The book coincides with a series of anniversaries for Phoenix (30 years since their formation as teenagers in 1989; 20 since the release of their debut record in 1999; and 10 since Grammy Award-winning Best Alternative Album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, in 2009) and draws on the band’s personal archives, including photography of everything from their instruments to the notebooks in which every lyric and chord change were carefully notated. Accompanying this is an oral history of their journey in their own words, conducted and edited by The Guardian’s music editor Laura Snapes.
Liberté, Egalité, Phoenix! is dedicated to the loving memory of Philippe Zdar

I LOVE when I get to hear the progression of a group's legacy like this. It tears me apart, LISA!

A book? Love Phoenix but I'd rather have a new album then a book.😲
Just be patient friend, maybe we'll see a new one soon maybe not, it's only been 2 years since the Ti Amo album came out. So probably soon.
@@yiorn Right, if you notice Phoenix has a pattern lately of releasing an album approximately every 3 to 4 year's🤔. Which now days in music its really stretching it.
I would just be patient with them in this time. Their producer, Philippe Zdar, just tragically passed away and they are still quite upset over it. This book was in loving memory of him, actually.
Anyways, the best thing to do is support the band in their time of personal struggle and hold tight.
@@sunflowersar Wow!🙁 How sad...I was totally unaware of this, do you know what happened? Very very tragic. I've seen this producer in videos with Phoenix and he seems to be a very intricate part of the production especially more recently.
Tragic,
I feel bad for the Boys but I hope that this event will only inspire them to do there best ever!
Thanks for that info bye the way....

Here’s an article that talks about it..
But yes, he was said to be like another member of the band. He had quite a lot of say in the final product of their songs and was very great at what he did!
I hope too that they will come out of this stronger. Phoenix is such a lovely and talented band.
Take care!
What is this Phoenix Commercial suppose to be telling us??? New album? A best of album? A box set? A new tour? This Commercial tells me absolutely nothing.
Does anyone want to clarify?
It's a book
