The "main" 20 acres of land on an island total 5,120 spaces.
Subtract the plaza is (120 spaces because it's 12x10) and we're left with the same number of spaces in the main island area as in a fully expanded storage.
Depending on where/how many houses you have and how big your beaches and flat rocks are, you can likely actually fit MORE turnips outside of the storage than you could in a storage shed.

I joined (I believe a year after acnh released?) basically during the last spring time while there were many cherry blossoms and all that. It's been almost a year, yet my island is not even NEAR finished so what I plan on doing is finishing my island, get my villagers i want there, get a good dream of my island, save it, then delete my progress and start a new different-themed island. I can imagine all the regret and visiting of my old island however I know it will be worth it to get that old nostalgic feeling of starting fresh and finding new things around every corner. See, I love having an almost-full museum and a ton of seasonal items and things alike but it gets boring, and old. I miss the feeling of discovery and wonder at the sight of each creature. Now, every time I catch something, it' something I've caught so many times I had pretty much been expecting it. So in the end, it really will be worth the excitement. /P.S I am DEFINATELY starting in spring/summer again. Winter in AC just makes me feel too sad or gloomy and I don't want too much time travel./

Now that the updates are over I’m planning on getting back into acnh as I took a long break from around when the update came out to now. And I have gotten three stars in one day and I’m flattening my island currently 😅 this idea seems really fun kora and it looked like you and your friends had a great time! Keep up that fun!

I’ve been taking my sweet time with my island! This is my first animal crossing game I’ve ever played and I really want to enjoy it! I’m still working towards completing my museum, finishing decorating my island, getting every islander picture (yes I know it’s crazy but I want to try lol), owning and completing every diy recipe in the game, finishing the dlc, completing all the nook miles goals, etc. I have a lot left to do, but I’m enjoying it and I’m not planning on buying the new Animal Crossing game right when it comes out because I’m broke and I still love New Horizons! Anyways, that’s what I’ve been doing on my island recently!
I’ve been waiting for this one!

Ok so I did the math and the maximum profit to be obtained, by which I mean a buy price of 90 Bells and sell of 660 Bells you should get a net gain of ✨427,381,500 Bells✨. Tho I might have messed up so please take it with a grain of salt🧂.This is also based on koras island size of 6565 as specified in the video “Is this the BEST way to make Bells?”where that is the number of crop plants on her island so please give or take a few thousand bells on the number this also doesn’t contain the up to 4 fully upgraded, no furniture, every tile house so you would also have to account for them but on a base level around ✨427,381,500✨is the “maximum” of bells you can make in profit.

I’ve been working on island projects. I decided that my stadium seats needed to be baseball mitt chairs because of course, so that’s been what I’ve been working on. (The HHP ability to DOUBLE YOUR ORDERS has really helped with this.)
Next, I want to convert my cinema to be a building inside of the medieval walls. I have the walls I need for it, just need to do the landscaping. That might be the last major upgrade featuring 2.0 items. Though I might redo the campground after that.
And I’m slowly trying to get my Bells to 200 million. I’m at 181, which has basically been where I’ve been for a while. Though I’ve had to do turnips again to keep that level, due to all the expensive castle walls I was using for some projects.
I use binge watch Kora's videos until a burned them out, but I stayed subed and this video popped up, the first thing I noticed is how much character you've started putting into your videos, keep👏 up👏 the👏 amazing 👏 work👏

It was probably a year ago when my daughter’s island had turnips going for over 600 bells. She let me travel back and forth so I could sell mine. I ended up with 11M bells. I thought that was awesome but boy you sure went out of your way with this 😃
If you get 8 fully upgraded player houses and completely filled the interiors with turnips you can fit even more since the space you have in the interior is a lot more than the space the house takes up outside!

I'm still holding out for an update to change the hourly music in game between all of them... Like Let's say I LOVE 1PM from the Game Cube one... I want to listen to it in New Horrizons... but can't. Or 7 AM from New Leaf... changing the music would be an dream update come true. But don't want to have a "magic" Switch to do so. Ahem... side rant over... Great video idea. So ideal max sell sits at around 4.2 Billion Bells! Did the math there... so much Tom Nook would be foaming at the mouth.
Why I talked about the music, is cause most AC Tubers use the OG music for background, making me nostalgic for it...
I used to think turnips were good because you get capped by other bell farming strats eg, only 20k profit on money tree per day, 1500 bells from foreign fruit trees and you only get so many rock materials per day. However, doing the maths, on average you will make 1.85ish times your investment in 7 days. In 6 days a watered vegetable crop will give 6 potatoes at an investment of 1. So you 6x you money invested with the same space as turnips take.

Turnip profit for the time traveler. Don't buy any turnips but watch your turnip prices through the week and if you get a large spike have a friend (or a second switch with another island) time travel to Sunday morning. You can go to their island with a pocket full of bells and return with a pocket full of turnips to sell immediately at a guaranteed price since you don't go buy until you have a good price to sell. If it's your second switch, you can repeat as long as you have the patience. If it's a friend, only as long as they are willing. Finding Daisy Mae becomes the hardest part unless you can trap her in one spot.
Is there a way to find a big spike week and then choose that week to perform the big buy/sell?
I calculated what the max profit is with the optimal situations, and it turned out to be around 67.6 million bells in profit.

Lucky lol! I made 55 million in one day but that's only because for the first time ever, my turnips buy back price was 582 bells per turnips. Now the most I see is better 28 bells to 177 bells. 😅 I've been relying more on my high price diy furniture. 😁👍
What i do for fun is turn on my switch walk on my island for 5 minutes and then stop and do it again the next day
With a large spike (+500 bells per turnip and help from Siri, I calculated a whole 240 MILLION BELLS or more which is about a quarter of a billion
Especially all the fruit also but that took a little bit
Im KIND of a veteran, Ive only everplayed Wild World for a short amount of time back then and my second ever game is New Horizons with only sub 200 hours, so I dont know a whole lot of the etiquette.
But I do have one question in mind, a while ago I subbed to a Twitch channel that has treasure islands and item islands, everything is free as long as youre a twitch sub, their bells island consists of jailbroken turnips that if you sell them, theyre worth 999,999,999 bells, now is that a shunned strategy among the general player base or is it completely fine?
