Hi, Alex, Great job on the video! If I understand correctly, the Planar Tracking will work exactly the same as the paid add-on creative asset effect "Corner Pin" with an ability to motion track.....This is awesome! In Davinci Resolve, The Planar Tracking feature requires many steps using their fusion page and creating a node tree and connecting arrows etc....and all the other nonsense crazy steps their program is. Filmora ROCKS!
Hi Joe, not actually as a paid add on.. Planar tracking is free just like motion tracking, smart cutout and so forth. Sure Filmora is doing better, however a lot of people are desiring more features than Ai
@@alexeditssYes. I agree. At least the planar tracking and a few other ai features do not require ai credits and are part of the program. My point about the corner pin effect was it works the same as planar tracking as far as the "pinning" the image on a given surface. The corner pin effect would require $99 per year to access the cheapest add-on plan.
Well I get it. Yes true. Yet they operate differently.. the corner pin can't track n the planar tacking can't change the perspective.. (not more than the selection surface) .. But yeah it's cool.. I haven't checked out the davinci Resolve.. I'm looking forward to it...
@@alexeditss I was playing around with DaVinci Resolve again yesterday and became very frustrated. Some of the features and menus are difficult to find and require too many crazy steps and some of the features are scattered about the interface. I ended up uninstalling it. I'm very grateful for the powerful yet easy navigation we have in Filmora.
hi dear, thanks for watching the video. you actually cannot do 2 trackings, but only if you export the first , and then bring back that same clip and do another tracking.
Hi, very nice presentation but Filmora add multi camera function as a fantastic thing remember that Pinnacle has this made 10 year ago. My main problem using Filmora is the lack of free stock check a simple free background colour. Not too much plain colour. May be the question for existant user is what to pay for a software if we can have more and free with competition like Clipchamp in Windows and DaVinci Resolve?
Thee are lots of free background colors available for free included in Filmora. Under stock media then color or color gradients. You can also create any color you wish...
Hey man.. I understand your point, Indeed, a lot of features are not actually free, but if you get a creative assets license, you're good to go.. Meanwhile if your challenge is much more about background colours (sample color) you can follow this tutorial ua-cam.com/video/uM-ednZ6VaY/v-deo.html (a little bit older) but very useful .. it will help you to see how to create your own sample or background colours in filmora
@@JoelS4000 Sorry in version 13.3.6 only few backgrounds colour are available about 6 or 7 colours include black and white all others need to pay. Compare this with Corel Video, Pinnacle Studio and DaVinci Resolve plus naturally the famous free Clipchamp from Windows. In Pinnacle you can use title function to create any background standard or half tone (gradient).
It;s a shame that after adding the long needed feature to create a compound clip in the timeline, it then cant be cropped, pan & zoom applied, or be used for tracking. It has to be saved to the hard drive and then re loaded , which defeats the point of a compound clip advantage.
Hi dear, sure you right, and also you can't (Un) compound Clip it, as yet. I'm sure Filmora will improve this feature in the near future. Thanks for dropping this comment.

Hi Alex, thanks for the video. It is really useful. Do you know if we can do multiple planar tracking in the same video concurrently?

Thanks for another great tutorial 😃
You're welcome dear.. more reviews are still coming for this new Filmora 14
