- This is part of the content from our German freelance visa course: courses.tom-br...
It's a complete suite of example documents for the German freelance visa, from a successful applicant.
Beck got the German freelance visa as a web developer and specialist in digital marketing. This was an application from an embassy, and the course will be particularly useful if you are applying from outside of Germany.
Included in the course are example:
Letters of intent
Visa application form
Letters of recommendation
Insurance forms
And examples of all of the other documents you need to apply
It contains easy walk-throughs
So:
A walk-through of the online process for securing insurance
A walk-through of the online process for getting your degree recognised for the freelance visa
It also helps you avoid some pitfalls
In particular, you'll learn how Beck dealt with:
The tricky 'livelihood' question in the German freelance visa application form;
Restrictions in relation to freelance activity and employment - navigating that red line;
Conventions to follow in relation to numeric figures for your income;
How to avoid difficulties with navigating the process for getting your degree recognised;
I also have the details of the German lawyer and other German contacts I recommend.
In summary this course is a very practical guide, useful to anyone applying for the German freelance visa, led by a successful applicant, with a complete set of example documents.

Hi Tom, I'm not able to find the German Freelance Visa Course on your website. Do you think you will be placing it back up any time soon? I plan on applying for my visa in the next couple of months and could use guidance! Thanks so much
i found this is very informatic and i just bought the course and amazingly they have explained the whole process for just £47. really recommend this course instead to hire any agent.
Thank you so much for the kind words, Talha Rafique! It's an honour to hear that the course plays a significant role in helping you crack the often perplexing preparations for visa applications, cheers!
Best, Tom
Were you able to get the visa?
that was really helpful, I heard you need to have a pension fund scheme for 60 months before you could actually apply for permanent residence, is this true?
Can a freelance visa holder study in Germany as well?
