I don't have a comment but I do have a question I need to know which oil pan goes to a 2008 Cadillac CTS a 3.6 engine can you use the VIN number to make sure you get the right one

What about for a 2008 Cadillac cts. My remote was paired before and out of nowhere the viper 7756V remote got unpaired and when I open my door the alarm goes off and it doesn't read the remote, and when I try to pair it it says pair failed.. what do I. Do

Babe do I take the fuse out then switch ignition on and off, then replace the fuse? Or are you saying leave key on and take fuse in and out?

My bro has a 2006 cts 3.6 and it's doing this he's done the bypassing of the starter relay by using a jumper wire and he says it still won't start. Dash lights come on when key is turned over but won't crank at all

Don't pull the ecm fuse out like others are saying it can destroy the module when you do so. Use a tec2 scanner or find someone with one and do it properly I'm a mechanic I had this same issue with mine. I currently have another one with that same problem I'm gonna turn off the PK3 system

The guy I bought it from has the big fuse taken out of there and has me turn the key on then take pliers and set it in the fuse hole and it starts. But now my battery is dead and I’m having troubles getting it started.
Your battery is dead and you need ti bypass the anti theft, just dealt with this again yesterday. Put the jumper cables on just like your jumping a battery. Make sure the other car your using to jump is on so your actually charging your dead battery. Wait at least a couple minutes. Then Take a piece from a wire hanger about a foot long. Make sure the wire is exposed on the ends of each side of the piece of wire hanger, some have paint or a coating on them. Rub it off on the ends if it does. Put the key in the ignition and turn to the right and leave it there, get out and LEAVE DOOR OPEN (you will get locked out if you don’t!) then take that piece of wire hanger and go to the hood of the car and put one end on the base of that purple wire he shows. Keep it there touching the base of the purple wire, it has to be on the base where you see the metal so the wire hanger is actually touching the metal. Then with the other end of the piece of wire hanger touch the metal part he shows in the video. Both ends of the piece of wire hanger need to be touching the metal in each spot. If the keys turned all the way to the right and your holding it there it should start right up. I had a mechanic do what your saying yours did but this worked.
06 CTS light stays on, key stuck, and won't start. Tried purple wire and ground, nothing, tried pulling fuse 5 times. Nothing is working. What do I do?

Ok so i had an issue with my car to where it would drive ok but it would activate the anti theft and traction control then the gas and temperature gauge would stop working while driving then ac would stop blowing cold lot of places would tell me it needed a computer but me been a single dad it has been a struggle to where I can’t afford a new one but I kept on seen if I could get it to work but no luck till I unplugged the anti thef fuse it’s been 3 days and haven’t had the same issues just thought I would let others know maybe it helps y’all out my car is a Cadillac 2006 cts 3.6l

So I’m having the some problem on the 03 cts but my key is stuck in the ignition and the anti lock is j showing not flashing any advice on how to fix this?
Mess with the shifter for a little keep pushing up if not put a jumper on the battery and try again
Grab a flat heat go underneath your steering wheel and undo the flat head plastic screw, push a pen up there while taking the key out and it should come off just did it today because someone tried to break into my car haha

For my deville, you put in a radio that isn’t from the car originally. The radio reads the vin and if it doesn’t match it goes into theft lock

So my car recently just shut off out of no where, and that light blinks like it did n I gotta 05 Cadillac CTS, does it lock up the motor?
Hey how’s it going and no it won’t lock the motor but it will lock signal too your starter so you won’t be able to start it until you find out where your antitheft problem is

Check the starter relay first then work your way too the pcm , pcm problems are common on these cars as well
@@diazautocarellc I tried starting it from jumping the starter relay n that didn't work so imma try that next
My 08 Sts won't start but everything turns on except the engine. U see the anti theft also no key start 😢😢 any ideas

I have a Caddilac 2010 CTS and just replaced the key but the remote box was damaged and I locked it 3days ago but I think I dropped my key but it's not responding want open
To what bad boy he didn’t even pointed out he said the purple wire goes to what it’s a bunch of fuses to the ground
Mine just cranks and cranks and tries to start, sputters and dies when you do the purple wire thing. Any ideas?

Bad timing chain
So I found this out outta sheer luck I did what he said purple to terminal jump but wouldn't allow me to lower windows no radio gauges nothing worked but I was able to drive signal lights windshield wipers head lights and tail light worked qhile at work I pulled the audio fuse located in back of the driver seat there's a fuse box I then noticed my rpms and mph came back and if fuse was out the key would release I then pulled the fuse out turned car on qith fuse out then off got out unlocked door with the key put fuse back in and turned on the car and boom everything was back to normal lmk if this helps anyone

That's because your car is a JERK😂😂😂😂. Na! Having issues with a 2014 Theft mode on occasionally. Disconnect ground wire on battery/ trunk for about 15 minutes and usually starts back up. Not the solution, but gets me home.
It's the pcm. Just replaced mine.
What's the pcm? And how much was it?
