We seem to blame lots of the pedestrian accidents on drivers. I'm on the road all day and can't tell you how often I see pedestrians cross roads without looking both ways, some don't look either way. I see bad drivers too, but I also see lots of negligent pedestrians. It doesn't matter if you have the right of way, you need to look both ways. Drivers need to be more patient as well, getting home 5 mins earlier isn't worth it.

Yeah, it seems like we stopped teaching people to “look both ways”. Doesn’t matter if you had the right of way when you’re dead.

I see it way too often. just the other week a lady decided to cross the street in front of me without looking and got mad when I almost hit her. she was walking in the same direction I was driving and looked like she was going to cross through the crosswalk that was parallel to us. she decided to turn at the last second and walk right through the crosswalk on the busy street I was driving on, with no head checks. It amazes me. I'm not as surprised when it's homeless people who have obvious mental health issues, but this was a lady dressed in business attire.
I agree a lot of times its the Pedestrians fault as a lot dont cross in the cross walk or they dont look both ways or are looking and or texting at there cell phones.

Speed cameras? They tried that already...it didn't work...why do they think it will work now? 🤔

Nobody cares..We live in Hawaii a place that most people here they don't care...
People have to be stringent about the designated driver. Ain't fun, but just gotta to take turns.

Man I feel like people forgetting how to drive and there some people take advantage over driving especially the new generation driving is a privilege if can’t follow the rules of the road don’t drive at all I’m also a rideshare driver I’ve also been noticing alot aggressive drivers on the roads weather is you’re going speed limit and they’re telling you very close and you break check them trying to tell them to slow down when it comes to making a right and you know there’s a red light camera around the corner and they start honking the horn for no reason because they can’t wait And the speed off .but i don’t think the speed camera are necessary because I think it’s not gonna work and it can point to anybody accused for speeding To me, this is another way of saying to waste tax payers money when the state is already suffering from repair the state capital can’t maintain through their reflective pool When that tax money, should be going to Maui wildfire not speed cameras that’s like dot is being lazy of sending more officers out on the roads and cops
