Lovely venue, always good to get on the bank, I’d of used magic bean wafter with pva bag of pellets and a bottom bait with a stringer of the same boilies.
I would zig on one 1ft under surface black foam flavoured up. Then solid bag on other rod fished tight to snags snowman style. Then be prepared to fish through those smaller ones to get a bigger one. Good video. You got to have a rod in to fish. A fish no matter how small saved a blank...
Another great video lads and great to see hugh back on the bank too, I would have Deffo tried my old faithful solid bag with some crushed up boilies in and some no name goo with a squido wafter 👌
As always, a cracking no nonsense video lads 👊🏻 I would of put a rod in mid water as it’s sunny. And maybe a larger fish would have been there. After all, not all of them are up in the water in high pressure.

I would fish one rod with a zig, one with a single pink fluoro pop up with a small bag of 3mm pellets, and a snowman, or even through some dog pellets on the surface to get them feeding and try surface fishing, lovely video as always
I play golf off a 7 handicap as well as fish with my son so if the fish wasn't having it ! I would of played a few holes and got something out of the day. Great video guy's
Cracking videos lads the only thing different id do is stalk the fish from the start. As you’ll know fishing in cold weather is hard but the best Place to start is locating the fish

I would of gone with a decent spread of pellet all along the far margin, I have found that fairly new fisheries with young fish are very tuned in to pellet due to being raised on them. Craking video again lads, no matter the size of the fish always great to get out and do some angling with a mate 👍
I would've used a small method feeder as it applies a small amount of bait and a lot of smell to the area. Glad to see you still caught though, and i understand you prefer carp tactics rather than match.

Good video lads. I would’ve done with a similar approach to you likely a mesh bag of boilie crumb dipped in some salmon or hemp oil and just changed up the colours every hour or so. Little pink pop ups seems to be the one for me this year for some reason!
At this time of year I have done well putting out a bed of trout pellets and hemp then fishing single flouro popups over the top Awesome upload thanks guys
Interestingly,on a lake I used to fish we were allowed to use a boat for baiting up,I was fishing a raised plateux with 5ft depth on top surrounded by 8-10 ft depth,after baiting with hemp and pellets I had 3×20s off the spot that night, up on rowing out the following morning to rebait,it was clear to see the hemp and pellets hadn't been touched,I had all 3 takes on flouro pink popups,it was as if the hemp pellet had attracted them then the first thing they picked up was the bright popups,

Nice couple of little carp and in great condition which I love to see. I would’ve fished one rod with a zig And a trimmed white pop-up. Other Rod solid bag with some pallets and a krill boilie. Great video lads look forward to the next one 👊.

Maybe a fizzing stick mix in pva mesh ,or a method feeder with a fizzing mix with some dna smoke ( old skool alka seltzer style ) . Them small carp were well up for the bigger boilies bless em' . Brilliant vlog again, very nice place, good to see hugh out again, think the trouble is to many small fish, the only thing i would of done maybe a pop up , or to be honest maybe a bit of stalking in the margins with a float rod, can dig out the bigger ones sometimes, keep up the good work 👍

I would have used a small bright hook bait dipped in some attraction liquid with a small scattering of small boilies of similar colour to the hook bait

The channels growing more now than ever so the figures would say otherwise. Always open to ideas, but we fish the way we want to as that’s what’s most important. This isn’t a full time job, it’s an extra side to our own fishing! There’s guys out there making mega content, but it’s their job and they have time to be more creative…one subscribers idea isn’t necessarily what others want to watch…
Having spent 3 days on the bank and blanked I'm the last to give advice! I may have given the boilies a little flavour using liquids and I would not have thrown in a load of freebies, I guess that's why I blanked....lol
I would of put mix of pellets and crumb 8 mil boilles with the smoke all over one on match the hatch one on a bright wafter and keep topping up every hour bring the small fish in then the bigger ones will follow 🐟
Done what you could in the hot conditions could of maybe tryed an yellow popup or wafter pineapple maybe but keep up the good videos and least you didn't blank good work.😊

We found the fish, they moved off with the conditions and we followed them! Was just tricky day, but put too much food in the start!

I would of use pva bags and pineapple liquid and yellow popup for small carp, washed colors for bigger

I would’ve left all the carp gear in the car, feeder rod + BanjoXR + 2mm Skrettings + pink 8mm wafter
Match gear is x10 the amount of fun….

With zigs I think no you need to go all in to find the depth they want to be at, so all rods on rigs or none at all.

Having spent 3 days on the bank and blanked I'm the last to give advice! I may have given the boilies a little flavour using liquids and I would not have thrown in a load of freebies, I guess that's why I blanked....lol

I would of put mix of pellets and crumb 8 mil boilles with the smoke all over one on match the hatch one on a bright wafter and keep topping up every hour bring the small fish in then the bigger ones will follow 🐟

To be honest i dont think there was much you could differently. Maybe a solid bag with pellets as they seem young and a little boilie.
