Nice to see you both out together you didn't blank that's the main I would of gone for the solid bag on one rod Nice little yellow pop up and second rod two fake corns on there own Nice venue and vid lads see you next week 🎣👊💯
I would zig on one 1ft under surface black foam flavoured up. Then solid bag on other rod fished tight to snags snowman style. Then be prepared to fish through those smaller ones to get a bigger one. Good video. You got to have a rod in to fish. A fish no matter how small saved a blank...
I would fish one rod with a zig, one with a single pink fluoro pop up with a small bag of 3mm pellets, and a snowman, or even through some dog pellets on the surface to get them feeding and try surface fishing, lovely video as always
I would've used a small method feeder as it applies a small amount of bait and a lot of smell to the area. Glad to see you still caught though, and i understand you prefer carp tactics rather than match.
The Chuckle Brothers are Back 😂😂....I would have 1 Rod on PVA Bag filled with the DNA Mini Mix and a Bright Wafter, the 2nd Rod have as a Rover on a Ronnie Rig trying all colour of Pop Ups and Fake Corn 👍🎣👍🎣
Brilliant vlog again, very nice place, good to see hugh out again, think the trouble is to many small fish, the only thing i would of done maybe a pop up , or to be honest maybe a bit of stalking in the margins with a float rod, can dig out the bigger ones sometimes, keep up the good work 👍
Nice couple of little carp and in great condition which I love to see. I would’ve fished one rod with a zig And a trimmed white pop-up. Other Rod solid bag with some pallets and a krill boilie. Great video lads look forward to the next one 👊.
At this time of year I have done well putting out a bed of trout pellets and hemp then fishing single flouro popups over the top Awesome upload thanks guys
Interestingly,on a lake I used to fish we were allowed to use a boat for baiting up,I was fishing a raised plateux with 5ft depth on top surrounded by 8-10 ft depth, after baiting with hemp and pellets I had 3×20s off the spot that night, up on rowing out the following morning to rebait,it was clear to see the hemp and pellets hadn't been touched,I had all 3 takes on flouro pink popups,it was as if the hemp pellet had attracted them then the first thing they picked up was the bright popups,
I play golf off a 7 handicap as well as fish with my son so if the fish wasn't having it ! I would of played a few holes and got something out of the day. Great video guy's
I would of gone with 26mm boilies to try and avoid the smaller fish. A snowman rig with a match the hatch 18mm pop up and a couple of freebies scattered around the rigs 👍🏻 great content as always, and great to see you both out together 👌🏻
@TheFishingBloggers fair enough mate. Don't understand why people would use solid bags when there are smaller fish around, each to their own I suppose 😁
@@andywhalley3669 yes I know what you mean, I guess it’s either wade through bites for a better fish or wait it out in the hope of something bigger 🤷🏼♂️
@TheFishingBloggers fair play lads, you had a couple so you were definitly on the fish I was just putting another option you could of tried so I could enter the competition 🤣👍 keep up the great work 👍
Great to see you both back on the bank guys and both not blanking 👍. Maybe a fizzing stick mix in pva mesh ,or a method feeder with a fizzing mix with some dna smoke ( old skool alka seltzer style ) . Them small carp were well up for the bigger boilies bless em' . Great little venue and big shout out to the owner for allowing you to fish/film there. Steve M

@@TheFishingBloggersdefinitely alot harder to get fish feeding in the winter months always have to have the perfect balance of bait atleast it wasn’t a blank
Waggler and maggot with the average size of fish kn there i think. Another great video, brill to see Hugh back with us, keep up the good work boys. 👍 👍
Great little trip as always. Perhaps an old school stringer on one and a bright single pop up on the other. However the conditions were not brilliant.. 👍👍👍
Great watch guys as always I'd have chucked out an sold bag crayfish mini-mix & maggots into the centre of the lake onto the adventure tightlines look forward to the next video 🎣 👊
Yet another cracking video I would try something completely different and use a 4 inch popped up piece of marshmallow over some pellets and sweetcorn 😊
Great vlog lads. I'd of gone with a bug snowman 18mm hardhoocker with a washed out 15mm pink with a bag of insect meal and pellet with a good squeeze of bug smoke.
Another great vid lads, yous show it how it is sometimes you don’t always catch and that fine as long as your enjoying yourself, always enjoying your vids, what I would have done different is used a mix of ground bait and pellets and I wouldn’t have put all the freebies out good job lads👌🏻
I would have used little sticks of boillie crumbed down n slid down on my rig with match the hatch wafters. And at least you both had a little 1 each 🙌🙌
I would have gone, D rigs /w Fake sweetcorn, PVA mesh with sweet attractant & Sweetcorn, running lead rigs too. Cant fault the power of those hi vis' yellow corn. Proably would have caught more, but maybe not guaranteed Carp. but as you said, "A bits a bite, and a fish is a fish" Tight lines lads.
awsome video fish saves a blank.. not sure how big the fish go up to but seein them both. id use method feeder as do love method feeder fishing at times🎣
Great vid yet again I would of had a wafter and a little mesh bag of pellets on one and another one on a feeder as some times they pick up the bigger fish

PVA bag with 2mm pellets and a wafter. And for the other a Zig with black foam.

Also would have targeted margins which had plenty of shelter 👍
The bank margin was the quieter option, definitely more fish on the far side than under our feet

What ground bait?
Good vlog, with the high pressure I would have tried a midwater zig alternatively large 24/26mm single to avoid small
Carp!
Think zigs were the way to go
Wicked to see you both back on the bank i would of tried zigs with sloppy spodding or possibly surface fishing seeming its warm

At least you’re honest 🤣
Great little trip as always. Perhaps an old school stringer on one and a bright single pop up on the other. However the conditions were not brilliant.. 👍👍👍
Stringers were great! So many forgotten tactics out of favour now
I would have tried a short hinge stiffy on a long boom with a 3 bait stringer I caught so many big fish that way
Not used a hinge for years!!!
Great watch guys as always I'd have chucked out an sold bag crayfish mini-mix & maggots into the centre of the lake onto the adventure tightlines look forward to the next video 🎣 👊
Think the maggots would get destroyed by the silvers
I would’ve left all the carp gear in the car, feeder rod + BanjoXR + 2mm Skrettings + pink 8mm wafter
Match gear is x10 the amount of fun….
For smaller carp it’s more fun for sure!

solid bags on both rods with a lot of bug smoke liquid and match the hatch bug waffters

Maggots and sweetcorn could be worth a try
Loads of silvers in the lake so carp won’t get a look in!
Smaller baits, smaller hooks and fish few rod lengths infront
Too many smaller fish to go to finesse…
With all the small carp about,I would have gone with 8mm pellets and a band like the match lads.
Think pellet wag would have worked 🤣
Naturals would have been an option - either maggots topping off a wafter or a worm or two.
It’s got too many silvers and small carp for naturals, the bigger fish won’t even see them!
Solid bags all day long .
Good shout 👍
Depends on the depths maybe a zig rig could have worked
Definitely a good option 👍
I would of spoded a load of bait to keep the small carp occupied and fished 18milers off the baited area .
