@Rich Sid We did that exact same day trip. We were from Bracknell. We had a decent vert ramp at the time but Rom and Leigh on Sea had so much variety. I also had long hair and pushed Mongo both of which I am pleased to say are things of the past lol
That old spine was SLIPPY. (The old vert, the other side o’ the park was slippy too… metal beasts. I preferred the Moguls at ROM and Harrow, great flow once you get lines down)
Great video. Almost how I remember it. Think I used to frequent the park around 1994-1997ish. I'm guessing this is a little earlier as there's a few ramps missing that I remember. I've seen up to date videos and the place is almost unrecognisable to how I remember it these days! The last 2 minutes isn't ROM unless that's a section they removed?

I used to skate there in 1978 when they were building it - we used to go there when the builder's had gone home in the evenings! Happy daze ..

I used to ride bmx at both Rom and Leigh at the same time as this, I rode early 90’s until about 2001. Great memories from this vid

Is it still there.
By what I can remember at the end of the video is south Sea.
We used to go to South Sea quite a bit but the end of the vid is Leigh-on-Sea
Yes you're right.
is that Mon Barbor on skates ? or Andy Peerless ?
Neither, it's John from the m&m skate shop (at that time)
@@Rich.enDorseit did you visit Jelly mumbos when you went to Leigh on sea ?
@@leehorspool9744 nope, that's all we fitted into the day trip
@@Rich.enDorseit thanks for the video, I have some awesome Rom memories. Used to jump the train from Peterborough.
