@@gufredd9675 yes! YT vlogers might be ok sharing their lifes, mostly when their the one doing the editing, but most people would prefer the camera be off around them. It's so intrusive to see a vloger at the shop or in the climbing gym. And asking permission to film on the spot is pressure many aren't comfortable being honest to say no. If I would have family/friends vloging I wouldn't want them even talking about me at all to the whole world.
Having a Grandma and Grandpa is so cool. I miss those times. So special.

It is my favourite colour “ I had a Mini Cooper soft top in racing green” it was a little beauty, same as your boot cabinet and utility….

When I was a kiddo in the 50s my mom put organizational dividers in an old suitcase and packed it with cooking necessities. It made it easier to have everything we needed.

Hey Guys, I created a list of things I taking camping. I printed it out and laminated it. I can mark off things on the list as I put them in the car. After I have everything, I erase the check marks on the laminate and it’s ready to be of assistance next time I go!! Keeps me from forgetting what I need. ♥️🙏🏼♥️

This was a really fun video. Great filming, fabulous editing. (Hitting the highlights, not a lot of Trent talking about what he’s PLANNING to do.). Trent’s Grandma also gets high fashion ratings in this video. There aren’t many women past 40 who can pull off wearing a tie dye T-shirt, but she absolutely ROCKS it with her white pants.
I was recently without power for over 50 hours after a storm hit our area. While we did not love the noise, we sure loved the power our backup generator provided.
Time to prepare for off grid living. Self sufficiency is where it's at.

I have been building for many years but I'm totally self taught and I picked up so many tips and tricks from you and learned from your mistakes by watching! I get to live vicariously, remember adventures in the outdoors, raising babies, young married life, and even feel a little inspiration to try new things or pick back up activities I miss. I was surprised that you didn’t install solar panels when you built the house. Something to consider is a manual transfer switch, attached to a larger LifePO-based portable battery that you can feed solar into, and have a timer attached to it to come on in the wee hours of the morning to charge the battery on AC, when the price per watt hour is lowest. With that sort of setup, you can pick your backup circuits and potentially run them on the solar generator full time, depending on how much solar you get in.
When the power goes out, do not open the freezer door until absolutely necessary. It's contents will stay frozen up to 3 or more days, depending on how full the freezer is! 💛💙

for future reference as long as u keep the freezer closed it'll hokd the cold and no food will spoil for 12 to 18 hours depending on quality of the appliance

I'm a homesteader with a delightful "coastal/boho" cottage. My sis was in retail for 35+ years and has a modern condo. Neighter of us would be comfortable in the other's style, doesn't mean one is right or wrong. Let the ones that criticize you live in a house that they are building around them with a new baby see what's it like! Your cabin's bones and your style are impressive and suit you, that's all that matters.

Everyone has different styles of decor. As long as you love your home, that is all that matters. We are in the process of remodeling a 120 yr old house and quite frequently we use Trents quote of a hair out of square! 😄

There is always such a happy vibe around you, even when confronting setbacks. Ugliest house? That was brutal and cruel! Would I change the layout? Yes. Would I change elements of interior design? Yes. How I would have done comes from years of experience and a growing interest for design. It is a learning curve for the most of us. Ultimately you are the ones to live there, and you do what suits you. You have achieved A LOT by building the house all on your own. Be proud and keep doing what suits you. You are amazing!

Love you home, very comfy. One thing I learned from my grandma and mom. Never put your babies crib next to an outside wall in the winter.. Always put it on an interior wall. Due to the outside wall being cold. 8n the summer it is not a problem.

You should put a dresser top between the big tower shelves and place the changing table (temporarily) on that surface. Multi-purpose surface.
