Been very anxious to post this!!! I REALLY hope you enjoy it! Thanks for clicking and all your support! 👍🏼👍🏼 Ps Anyone needing a tutorial on the GRAVY page or the So ugly page 😆…just lemme know!
THANK YOU!!! Yeah it depends on the pattern. Some took less than an hour and I think some took like 2 hours. I should actually time them….i literally have only been doing them as a way to relax so I wasn’t paying attention! 🤣 Thanks so much for your comment!!
I love every bit of this video. 👍 yes would love to see more sketch tours please. It was nice to see that you can look back and see your progress as well and what you’d use and do different. I think it was pretty cool. 😊👍
OK so I'm only into 3 seconds and I already like this. I've always been fascinated with making black and white shapes look 3D as well as charcoal or pencil drawings. I prefer them over colour as (in my opinion) it takes more skill to only use one colour and make an entire picture out of it that has shadows and depth. I have 2 pictures that I have that's just charcoal and I love them. You only started in 2023? You obviously have liked art waaay before that. 3:02 YES I also thought pasta but I also thought kitchen floor with the chequered pattern. 3:30 I completely understand why you liked that one. I do too. It looks like a crumpled bit of paper. 5:15 I'm in the love it category. It looks like a box full of worms... really odd shaped and freaky looking worms. 5:40 No need to "meh" it. I think it looks great. It's like a hole in the floor. You can always un-give up and finish it. 6:30 Black and white croissants. 7:33 Even though it didn't turn out the way you wanted it too I thin it looks great. From the bottom to about half way up it looks like the tube is going further into the background. I wonder if it would look any good if you made the tube gradually get thinner. Like what you have done there the same size up until half way up the page then from half way make the pipe gradually get thinner. I wonder if that would make it look like it's going away from your eyes. I don't know if what I'm saying makes sense. I'm super tired and need to ZZZzzzz. 8:10 YESS That is the first time I've seen a black and white picture that looks like it would be soft to the touch. 11:02 Fish scales. Not too bad. 11:55 I disagree with you on this one. You didn't ruin it. I don't know if it's because I'm looking through tired eyes but those 'worms' look 3D and it looks like they are sitting on a sheet of oddly lined paper. Did you use a different pen or different colour ink because they look like a bluey black compared to the matt black lines. And then I heard you say you did use 2 different inks. Best thing you did in my opinion. I hope you don't mind me yapping so much. I thought if I was in your shoes and I opened up to complete strangers about myself then I would like some nice feedback.
I 100% appreciate the feedback because as you say, you kinda open up to strangers so getting so nice words in response is refreshing!! I love hearing how people feel about each picture so please yap on! Haha like any artist I prob criticize my art enough on my own, reading postive things is a breath of fresh air!! Haha Also, yes the black and white art has always interested me and intrigued me as well. It’s like a bit of Tim Burton imagination but nothing spooky, if you know what I mean. Ps. I like the un-give up and finish attitude!! 👍🏼😎
I know you said you dont like the one at 5:41 but I do. I like how very 3D it is, like giant jigsaw pieces rising up off the page. And werent there some kind of old fashioned twisted "rope" ripple candy like that? I vaguely recall it. It would be striped like that but it would be like red white green? Wavy ribbons? But your sketch book is SO creative!! Love it!!
Oh thanks so much Sarah! I really appreciate your viewpoint on that drawing. I love hearing how others see my art so THANKS!!! Also thanks for watching!
This is awesome!! Some of those are mind blowing. I’d love to see some tutorials on them. The ones with the little pebbles are super cool…and the ugly oven mitt cracked me up 😂
Thank you so much!!!! I would love to show how I went about doing some of these pages! Maybe can do some Draw With Me videos! Haha the oven mitt….makes me laugh every time I look at it
Hey there! 🌟 Your sketchbook tour is absolutely mesmerizing! ✨ The progress you've made is so satisfying to watch. 😊 Each piece is incredibly beautiful and charming, like something out of a magician's spellbook. 🎩💫 Keep up the fantastic work! 🎨💖
Oh that was fun. The ones you call tangles look like the striations in the human muscles to me. The stripped ones look like a hive of wasps wiggling around or bees or even worms. So dead bodies and maggots. Some of the other ones look like closeups of plants and leaves. The one you like, seashells on a beach. I've rarely done anything like that because the amount of movement and patterns makes me anxious, this surprised me, how odd, art usually I like it or I don't maybe I should experiment with shapes a little. This was interesting 🤔thank you for sharing. I draw trees when I'm stressed lots and lots of trees 😂or bark.
You bark when you’re stressed??? 😜. Honestly I LoVE the feedback and hearing what people see! 👀 Thanks for sharing and yeah, to look at some of the pieces looks to chaotic but for whatever reason….and I don’t know why because I will get anxious about things…I find it so relaxing and I get lost in it, like reading a book. Weird…either way….intriguing! Thanks again for taking the time to watch! 🥰
@@SezCreate hahahaha 🤣 not bark like a dog 🤣😂 bark like draw tree bark like a paper birch 🤣 OMG I needed that laugh 😂 Comme to think of it I have a friend and she goes on walks and screams 😂 I've always wondered if she scared people and years ago a fair came to town with a soundproof scream box, it had a huge lineup, we both tried it maybe that's where her new stress management tool started 🤔
@@nicoleperron3315 😆😆 I was just teasing you! Haha I love trees too….come to think of it maybe I could try a bark doodle that resembles “tree” bark! Haha. Scream Box sounds wonderful and a bit scary all at the same time ! 😆
@@SezCreatewell in channeling my inner claustrophobic, the thought did cross my mind that what if, at the end of the day, you're the last person and they forget to check the box....no matter how much you screamed, no one would hear you 😳
It’s obvious that everyone sees something different in pictures, but I didn’t see anything I disliked. I wish everything I attempted could turn out as positive as that
That’s so nice of you to say….I think there are just ideas I try to make happen that just don’t come out as planned. Prob your stuff I far better than you think as well!
