    Holy cow!! Like you are right ON the beach!!!🥴 super happy you have THAT life many of us wished we had....someones gotta have it right! Is it scary when the storms come thru tho??? I imagine i would have my shade open to see it but you are really close! Thanks for showing tour collection and how you display them...most people dont show that and i always wonder what do people do with the shells they find. Very very nice🥰 stay safe

    Where, on PBC, were you collecting all those great shells???

      There's no one place... I just walk along on and keep my trowel in my pocket. The beach landscape changes all the time, so it's always an adventure to find some cool shells :)

    I live in San Diego now but am thinking of moving to Panama City , any advice ? What are the pros and cons ?

    • @CathyFromPensacola
      @CathyFromPensacola  7 років тому +2

      Really? Have you been here before? It is humid, summers are very hot, winters can quite cold but if you can acclimate, it is awesome here! From a California gal who grew up in Burbank :D

      CathyFromPensacola my dad lived there so I visited , I think the summers are miserable but I do like the balmy nights

    Hi Cathy! Those shells look so beautiful!! I'm traveling to PCB in April, and I was wondering, is the ocean pretty warm at that time? Thanks!

    How are you getting starfish? I see them all the time alive which we are not allowed to take.

    Cathy do you ever find shells you've never seen before? Are there such a thing as "RARE" shells?

    • @CathyFromPensacola
      @CathyFromPensacola  8 років тому +2

      +YankeeClippa There are shells that I hardly ever see and thus the reason I enjoy the hunt, to find the rare or uncommon shells. A couple of examples are the Horse Conch which is the state shell for Florida and the Junonia which if you lived in Sanibel, FL that find would get your picture in the paper lol

    Would you recommend Shell Island for shelling?

    • @CathyFromPensacola
      @CathyFromPensacola  7 років тому +3

      I've only been there once and found little but after a storm anything is possible :)

      There's no one place in particular. I just walk along the beach.
