If someone cant get a tone out of this, they might need to drop guitar as an instrument! Clipping settings 3 and 4 are purposely set up to be partially blended. This is for bass and amps that wont like having the front end hammered. I made this for myself and found it worked so well across my collection of amps id offer it as a production model. Basic offerings are a bore to me, so this is what I made.
Hard pass. A bandmate dropped off his Ibanez Pentatone Pre in the weekend, haven't played it yet but the spec seems really good and he got some great sounds from it.
@@DomeNightbearer he had it straight into a clean SS front end.I started talking about running it in the loop and parallel and his eyes glazed over lol. So im doing that part, for science! He has a peavet musician which has the ability to run two channels parallel, i really wanna hear what its like with a combo of the peavey gain/ penta gain :)
^^^^ uh yeah, cool OXYMORON friend. @DomeNightbearer I spent about an hour jamming with the ibanez, as an actual pre and front of the amp pedal it totally slays. Only downside for me is it never gets completely clean with the gain down so the Pepers FAR-Q retains its top spot for my loop application. Catching up with him today so maybe i can twist his arm about that noise gate he's been working on. Para-eq with a gate would be perfect.
Thats one bloody High T Dome🤟😎
Thanks for the demo. I heard some good stuff from that bloody lunchbox! 👹

The Pentatone is a pedal I still wanna try out. How's he using it?
