The moment of Jon realizing he’s stricken with incurable corpus after the multi-part buildup of his hubris believing he could cure anything was a masterful stroke of comic tragedy. It could hardly have been a better setup and payoff if he’d tried!
@@ManyATrueNerd Well, there are three NPCs - two of them in Balmora - who sell Resist Corprus Disease spells... "if it wasn't for the save/load function you'd be dead", and that proves you're NOT the nerevarine? how many people in tamriel do you think have the save/load function?
I'm going to write something here about boosting your Strength, a caution that's obvious when you see it happen but its too late by far at that point to help yourself. The durability damage your own weapon takes when it makes contact is in part a function of your strength. So become strong, but beware raising your strength to absurd godlike numbers for the sake of your mortal weapons.
I have always head-canon'd your ability to "save" and "load" as a meta way of making your character "unkillable" (thus allowing you to fullfil the prophecy without removing challenge from the game). Don't think that's a bug, I think it's intended. Certainly all the bug fix mod makers think so since they all leave it in while removing other exploits.
Does Jon know, that he can delete spells he no longer wants to keep?
5:25 1-10 -> 10-20 is more like triple damage, not double, as the average is going from 5.5 to 15
The last and defining prophecy regarding the Nerevarine is that she shall posses the power of save and load.
When they say ancient, in relation to Divayth Fyr they really mean it. He's THOUSANDS of years old.
Sparkling skirts are a strong sign Aria is the Nereverine! Well done!!
Loking forward to Grandmaster Sandwichmaker's next Hit-Single :D
Should we tell Jon about Boethiah?
You need to go back and search the boss room more thoroughly.
Just call the one second personality spell a firm handshake, Jon. A firm handshake takes one second, and it can tell you a lot about a person's personality.
you should consider dumping your alchemy stuff somewhere because you don't use it while out on the road and haven't collected any plants on video unless it was for a quest.
... or you could just take the mortar & pestle.
If you make stronger versions of "Aria Smash" in the future, they should be called "Aria SMASH!" and "ARIA SMASH!!!"
Jon Jon Jon.
(having not seen or played the game, this isn't a spoiler)
you only living due to the save function isn't proof that you aren't the nereverine.
the save function is the nereverenes biggest power, naturally. thanks to loading, you can't die.
I wonder if you put away your weapon like he asked if he would have been chill with you…
The short answer is no
Hope you continue the GTA live streams! Also living this series lol thanks for all the entertainment.
Next fire spell, consider naming Hell’s A’poppin’
"if it wasn't for the save/load function you'd be dead", and that proves you're NOT the nerevarine? how many people in tamriel do you think have the save/load function?
31:40 Oh Jon… so young… so naive… so foolish…
Grand and intoxicating innocence
Jon please use your filled soul gems to charge your enchanted gear! Its getting painful to watch!
Since you haven't seemed to "catch" on, Marowak, Kakuna, Weepingbell... Pokémon references. Gotta catch em all!
I'm going to write something here about boosting your Strength, a caution that's obvious when you see it happen but its too late by far at that point to help yourself. The durability damage your own weapon takes when it makes contact is in part a function of your strength. So become strong, but beware raising your strength to absurd godlike numbers for the sake of your mortal weapons.
bound weapons being the exception. funny that i started the last run with the devil spear and ended the run with it as well.
At 33:39 I realized that Jon must have read 'The List' ...
If Jon doesn’t call his final fire destruction spell “You’re fired” I will unsubscribe
I have always head-canon'd your ability to "save" and "load" as a meta way of making your character "unkillable" (thus allowing you to fullfil the prophecy without removing challenge from the game).
It wouldn't be fun to play if you knew you couldn't die/had no consequences for failing encounters, after all.
As we’ve been screaming at you for like 6 episodes: “Blight is not Corprus” 😂😂 Also, you CaNnOt cuRe CoRpRuS YoUrSelF, YoU FoOl! You can however go do the cure quest.
Jon the fact you have the ability to save and load means you can't die
I choose to believe this is a Doctor Who reference and not a Bible reference
IIRC you can clear the statuse effects of corprus at the temple, the disease remains.
