Yes you are so right I’m on a iPhone 8 Plus and it still pretty good can play call of duty but the battery is terrible about 1-hour (playing games) 2-hour (watching videos and movies) and iOS 17 and 18 is not supported but I do not care iOS 16 is still awesome and apps still support it
Tbh apps keep closing in the background on my iPhone 13 Mini with iOS 18. Once, I needed to hop between 3 apps at once and they keep reloading. Probably depends on the app as they are bloated nowadays. Opening the camera app will, for sure, close any other apps in the background for me.
I agree, I'm actually first and foremost an Android user. I just thought it'd be interesting to look at a cheap phone that was still currently supported, regardless of who makes it! This was my first video on a phone so I wasn't really sure if I covered everything correctly but it's a learning experience and maybe I can do another video on a cheap Android phone sometime soon 🫡
@@gmdtech8008 The SE I picked up in this video was $60 flat. I think if you're working with about $100 budget, you'd have a lot more options on the Android side of things. I think I've seen a Pixel 6a for around $100 which would be a really solid $100 phone IMO
I do love the optimization of iOS and how it does RAM management. Old devices can still feel pretty solid for non-demanding workloads

I think you did a phenomenal job especially on your first phone review video! Keep up the good work, hope to collab with you in the near future!
this was my first iphone. I still have it 64gb.
Thought the se would be worse but was wrong. Great vid
It's really just an average phone all around!
I’m watching this vid on that device
Awesome! 😎

Depends on the A series i wouldn’t get a $100 android compared to a 2020 iPhone SE for the same price
@@gmdtech8008 an iphone SE isn't $100 tho

I liked this phone but the battery was absolutely horrible and I had lots of bugs on it for some reason
Yeah, the battery definitely kinda sucks. Can’t say I’ve had any insane bugs on it, but definitely have some minor stuff here and there
"CHEAPEST Supported iPhone in 2024", bro my 2018 iphone Xs is still supported and is gonna get ios18...
Xs is more moolah
@@TrashGamePlayer123 they are about the same price. But the xs came out before the xr
I paid $60 for my SE, which is less than I could find an XR 😎
That camera was crusty and dusty🤣
My ultrawide always picks up on all the small details that I don't notice with my eyes 🤣
