I got out of this cult, and now as an old man, I am happy more than ever 😊😅 My family didn't care about my choice and they loved me as before. I'm happy for you but accepting you regardless of your beliefs is not a favor; I don't think giving our parents the credit of doing that is fair. But as an Arab who's left Islam since the age of 15, I understand that the mere tolerance I get from my mother when just not practicing Salat or at least not in time is appreciated, and so I can't imagine my life if they've got to know about my thoughts long ago. So I think I would also respect my parents if they'd been closer to me and not cause this massive gap between them and me with their dogmatic religion.

I respectfully disagree. Christianity spread in Europe by word of mouth and spreading the gospels, not by sword. It was only in 321 CE, when Emporer Constantine made Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire did the spread of Christianity involve violence. That was a pagan influence introduced into Christianity hundreds of years after Jesus. In the early years of Christianity, Romans were persecuting Christians the same way they persecuted Jewish people. Yes, once Christianity was adopted by the Roman Empire, there was much violence that occurred. Inquisition, crusades etc. But let’s not pretend that the crusades happened in a vacuum. The crusades were a response to hundreds of years of Islamic invasions into Christian countries. Whereas Islam from its inception has been an ideology of violence, conquest and submission. There is no comparison between the spread of Islam and Christianity in their infancies.
It's a political ideology, no religion. It has nothing spiritual. Just see the life of prophet, it's full of war. See life of ummer, uthman, ali and how they died, there is no spirituality. It's just about war.

Hi @BennyMcGibbon, the Bible says "by their fruits you will know them". We see the fruits of Islam and consequently see who is behind it from its fruits. But we, too, have to keep ourselves right and respectful: Ephesians 4:1-3 ESV [1] I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, [2] with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, [3] eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. You are right in the aggressive nature of "extremist" muslims or "true" muslims, following Islam verbatim. But that's because Allah can do nothing for himself for obvious reasons. Our God is mighty, we can trust and rely in Him. He doesn't need us, but uses us when He can, when we are in a place of obedience to do so. Real strength, as we know, does not come from ourselves, but from His spirit.

I'm of Pakistani Muslim stock whose great grandfathers were British army officers during WW2 (one used to report to King George VI directly) and it's extremely embarrassing to see how people from a tiny portion of Pakistan (mostly Mirpur and the surrounding districts in Azad Jammu Kashmir) have managed to create such a sht show here in the UK that reflects on me negatively. It's extremely frustrating. My dad used to send me to Pakistan every year and it was wonderful. I experienced a landed gentry, semi colonial lifestyle with people speaking the Shashi Tharoor style English which was in huge contrast to my northern working class upbringing with a Lancashire born mother. I saw so many opportunities for Britain and Pakistan to collaborate and really build something special but Zia Ul-Haq planted the extremist seed that will never go away. If things went the right way, Pakistan would have had Imran Khan as PM with Jemima Goldsmith as first lady where food security (and lower prices) for us here in the UK would have been amazing and we'd also have a huge market we could sell our cars to etc. I always hoped that the NHS would sell franchises in Pakistan to not only make huge money for the NHS in the UK but also allow us to support Pakistan with healthcare etc but here with are with the worst of everything. I tried and tried to change the mindset but I officially gave up and moved to a more enlightened part of the country where i'm extremely happy. They make up over 70% of British Pakistanis and they're gathered mostly round Northern former mill towns like Bradford, Oldham, Blackburn, Rotherham, Preston, etc. It's like if all the English who've settled in Spain came from Essex or Lincolnshire! Almost all the British-Pakistani grooming gang members caught were Mirpuris. They treat their own women as virtual chattels so it's no surprising that they treated those poor girls the way they did. Plus, nearly 80% all first cousin marriages in the British-Pakistani community involve them. And they're the ones most prone to getting their sons or daughter in the UK married off to their brothers or sisters kids back in Pakistan and bringing them over to the UK. Most forced marriages in the UK involve Mirpuris too. In British-Pakistani dating or marriage apps and ads it's not uncommon for the women and it's only ever the British-Pakistani women to explicitly say, 'No Mirpuris please' !

@@AsscherMazzelaaryou can say christianity also spread with sword but they change and become human but islam was zombies and they become more vulture in 21st century

@Lubna.Candid It's not an easy place to find yourself. Our beliefs are part of our core. The Bible again says:
Romans 8:31-32 ESV
[31] What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? [32] He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
You just need to decide who your God is. He expects us to reason and question. But, you can always just ask Him for help to show himself to you. I wrote a sing called Dead Men Rising on my channel, If it helps.
Never lose hope, but place your hope on a firm foundation.

Hi @BennyMcGibbon, the Bible says "by their fruits you will know them". We see the fruits of Islam and consequently see who is behind it from its fruits. But we, too, have to keep ourselves right and respectful:
Ephesians 4:1-3 ESV
[1] I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, [2] with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, [3] eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

As a muslim, I am sorry for the loss of your friends. However, the reason these people are resorting to violence is that the state of Israel is committing settler colonialism on their lands, it is not simply because they are "muslim". People resist occupation regardless of their religion.

@@justteeth1504 I do not condone Hamas's killing and abduction of civilians. But the state of Israel is indeed doing occupation, it was founded by occupying land inhabited by other people who now have to go through checkpoints to access their own land. It has imposed a naval and sea blockage on gaza, as well as has done human rights violations on them for a long period of time. In the west bank new illegal settlements continue to be built, and palestinians are living in an apartheid arrangement there as well.
In my state Pakistan, there is a separatist group known as BLA that does acts of terror, even on civilians. However, this group was created because the state has exploited their lands and deeply suppressed their freedom of speech. So I hold my state responsible as the root cause.
Muslims will continue to put more people off as time goes on but there definitely needs to be a break in new Muslims (and other immigrants) to the UK just so we can regroup and get the country back on its feet.

'...whose great grandfathers were British army officers during WW2 (one used to report to King George VI directly)'
That's clearly complete 🐂💩 you were told I'm sorry to say !!!
No soldier especially a coloured one would report directly to the King!
Not even the Chief of Defence Staff of the British army!
It's a historic and military fact.
I agree about those Pakistanis who are settled in the UK and are from the small Mirpur area of Pakistan and are the most backwards and clanish people in there.
Maybe there is something positive in what you said. But I have noticed that the vast majority of subcontinental (Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Indian) Muslims have religiously radical views, setting them apart from others. Many even of the educated are no different except for superficial graces. I think it has to do with the religious instruction. It certainly does not spring from a small local ethnicity.

Religion without self realization is of no use.
Hindus yep....idolatry 😮
Sadly in Northern Nigeria parents send children to Madrasses where 5yr olds are chained by their ankles beaten hungry and sent out to beg. Older men only have an audience with the Sheikh by slithering like snakes towards their leader whilst kissing his feet. Awful display of religiosity sickening.

Hi Lubna, you’re not the only Muslim who thinks like this. I too don’t understand why there is not condemnation/protests from fellow Muslims regarding the grooming child abuse gangs, the various acts of terror, Southport, immigrant rapists and other issues. When i read about the Yazidi genocide it sickened me. I can’t recall any protests against this.

Good day, love watching your channel, very interesting channel, Super Content...Education give wings to life,
Especially girls.
You don't need a religion to nourish your relationship with your creator.
That is such a Protestant Christian thing to say.

@@le13579 Ms. Lubna, like everyone else, needs Jesus Christ. Jesus wants relationship with people, not rituals or religion.
@@raisinbread8526 I guess I was
alluding (poorly) to a concept I once heard that the Judeo-Christian ethos is so deeply ingrained in western culture that even when people think they are being atheist or naturalist, they are expressing aspects of those judeo-christian doctrines.
And then, more specifically, a direct relationship with God was an idea from the reformation, wasn't it?
Sorry to nerd out on this...
@@le13579 Western countries are based on Judeo-Christian principles. And Judeo-Christian principles derive from the "Bible", not from some person or movement. The concept of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ comes from the Bible itself. Martin Luther did not make that up. Jesus said in Luke Chapter 19 verses 9-10: "Salvation has come to this home today, for this man has shown himself to be a true son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost." There is nothing wrong with being a nerd. I am a proud nerd. And because of that, I go straight to the Word of God where he has spoken to his people.
They have a 7th century book that they feel they have to take literally.
Such generalisations do not make your opinion correct although you are entitled to it. I will respectfully submit that the Qur'an transcends time and geography.
Even in 7th century and before there were enlightened communities and leaders.
@@shabiryusuf Does it really transcend time? Hmmm. Your prophet married a 6 year old child named Aisha. Is that the sort of action that you would encourage for all time?
@@shabiryusuf why is Islam true, why should I believe the Quran is from god?
@@shabiryusuf It works for the Christians who do not take their book literally when considering modern day morality. When will Muslims do the same?
Sorry but Time and Geography predate the Qur'an.

Leave Islam. It's a difficult move at first but you will gain strength, integrity and eventually wide support. Too many Muslims are afraid to make this move. Everyone wants a quiet life. But there's a very high price to be paid for it. Bite the bullet, accept the initial discomfort and hostility and eventually you will be glad that you did so.
💯
I respect your brave process and your mission! Wishing you love and light from an Israeli 🪬
Hey sister, thank you for having the courage to speak out. I am from a Pakistani family also and have experienced some of the things you have mentioned in your video, especially Muslims not using their brains. I left Islam a while ago and felt much better. I have recently come to Christ which was the best thing that's ever happened to me. I would encourage you to look into Jesus and His life, no pressure of course. I will be praying for you and I hope you find peace. Salam.

Lubna, you are not a Muslim any longer.
You may still call yourself a Muslim but it is clear you are learning the truth and moving forward.
It is better to have your eyes open , even if it hurts ,🎉 than to live in a prison of this cult or pretend you are happy .
The wheels are turning and there is no back to Islam for you and that is a good thing.
You can be free of lies you have been taught all your life. ❤
This is my first time to your channel. I love listening to you just pouring out your ideas without reservation. Please continue to speak your mind and to be free.
Luna, the best. The only best is to ignore these people. They will never change unless they want to change themselves so please ignore them. Ignore their comments and move forward if you want to continue with your mission good luck.
Don’t be down about this lubna. Be positive and keep doing what you are ❤
Its understandable, dealing with haters is deflating. Sometimes you just need to take a break from their comments for mental health
It’s very hard dealing with ignorant people your doing good but you take care of your self and family the polititions of Britain have done a huge mistake they have ruined England

Your posts are like sunlight on dark shadows. I was born in a Muslim majority country, Malaysia, before the Sunni Salafist Islam, propagated by the Saudis had got a hold on the Muslim world funded by the petrodollar. I have studied Islam for a couple of decades, before the Internet really spread, by reading and travelling. I have watched with dismay a dear Kashmiri Muslim friend whom I have known for 20 years, who got more and more radicalised. So sad about this. It is now impossible to have a reasoned and intelligent conversation with him. Yet he is an intelligent and lovely man, so I have seen the rot set in with my own eyes.
Just writing this message to give you encouragement, the path you are on is lonely but know that there are others who also feel this way. Take courage in this spiritual journey and you will come out of it a wiser and stronger person. The fruits of your labour is worth it. I am praying for you that people do not crush your desire for the truth.
I like hearing your views. It's refreshing. Keep up the "good work" there is good and bad in all of us.
I appreciate that
You're right, I've done my share of talking shit about catholic priests, I don't remember ever being told "But what about muslims tho ?" Even tho it would be pretty easy to point to Aisha to deflect.
The Catholics don’t justify it, they say it’s wrong, and mostly the Catholic authorities dispose those priest and Make sure the victim is Okay and Pay for their Care etc.
