I actually bought a few rooted cuttings of American Beauty from someone in Esco a few weeks ago they are still pretty small but even with this colder weather they are starting to grow new growth at least a few of them. I also picked up a Lisa variety the which I am exited to grow. I've heard that American Beauty is a universal pollinator so I'm glad that I'll be able to pollinate the unknown plant that I found and made cuttings of.

Nice find. Just keep and eye out for AM beauty in the cold.. They tend to rot a bit more easily in my experience. Both varieties are great :)

I cut a cutting off of my dragon fruit cactus to see if the cutting will root and grow and now the original plant is now growing something on one of the nodes and it’s white with small 3 red spots on it and The Whole thing is very small but do you know what it is?

I'm not sure. A fan sent a photo of a df plant that shot out a single leaf. Give it some time or send a photo to our email and/or social media.

@@jamestropicals8262 I've seen flower buds turn to branches... They can show some unique growth.

It would be possible if you moved them inside then they are dormant in the winter/spring. They don't tolerate much below the upper 30's.
