It works but sometimes it doesnt work at the beginning, you have to restart the ps4 so the tv reads the hdmi well or disconnect and connect the hdmi for the tv to read it. After that, it works perfectly. Hope this helps someone.
No the ps4 has like a 6 foot HDMI cable my PS3 is across my room from where my tv is. So I need a really long HDMI cord, my PS3 is using component cables.

Alright, I have a Sony tv and this does not work. is there some type of code I have to put into my remote. I enabled the hdmi link on the ps4 already.
You connect it by just putting the check mark in Enable HDMI Device link and use the directional buttons on the TV controller. look it up on Google
Your TV has to have cec link 2
