- Behold, the Ledges Tri-Dimensional Reverberation Machine!
Ledges is a three-mode reverb with the ability to save and recall six presets and user-assignable expression control with loads of customizable options. It’s not just any three modes though. EQD head honcho Jamie Stillman tried out hundreds of reverb sounds (yes, we’re serious, and yes, he’s a madman), and picked these three, the crème de la crème, the cream of the crop, the…you get it. Really good ones.
If you’re looking for that classic, standard reverb tone from the players and songs you love without any other effects, then this is your pedal. If you want to push the limits and take it further to sonic reaches that only you can uncover, then this is also your pedal. It’s everything you’ve ever wanted and needed out of a reverb and it’s the reason we brought you all the way up to this towering tone precipice.
The 3 switchable modes each deliver a unique blend of reverb, but are connected through a spectrum where the Room (R) reverb’s longest setting is the Hall (H) reverb’s shortest setting, the Hall reverb’s longest setting is the Plate’s (P) shortest setting, and the Plate’s longest setting just keeps on going.
Ledges has two operating modes: Live and Preset. Don’t want to remember all those pesky settings? Use a preset! Want Ledges to guide you to the farthest reaches of the sonic cosmos? Set the mode to Plate and cancel all your plans. And for the true adventurers, switch back and forth between live and preset mode. Go ahead, we double dog dare ya.
For further sonic exploration, use any TRS expression pedal to take control over the Length, Damping or Mix for endless customization. Different EXP assignments can be saved in each preset. You can also use Control Voltage with the EXP jack.
Each Ledges™ pedal is handcrafted on the highest peaks of the extreme altitude of Akron, Ohio, USA, where they are then transported down for delivery by carrier falcon.

Opening riff has all the feels. Sounds haunting wandering and dreamy
This is perfect because it offers multiple reverb options, but also a very user friendly way to store and access presets. Thought about the user experience and the fact that most of us guitarists have derpy ape brains more than most companies do. Well done guys!
Sounds like a good reverb pedal, nothing i havent heard before though. The best part is the ability to save settings as presets. For a gigging musician, this pedal will be one of those life saver pedals.
Fair! Its got some character though, gotta give it a try ;)
i always wanted the ghost echo or the levitation, now your making this realllly hard lol. love my disaster transport sr, feel like it would go amazing with the ledges
Can confirm, Disaster Transport into Ledges sounds soooo good!!
I really appreciate you guys using a Bass as well! Being a bass player I used my Astral Destiny every day and create some of the most beautiful pieces of music you could ever hear thanks to Earthquaker Devices!
Our pleasure! We believe it! Astral on Bass is so fun! Cheers
@@EarthQuakerDevices it’s like floating in a dream! Thank you for the amazing products and replying 🙏 I’ll be using it tonight at our show with my bass interlude 🤘😊
A versatile reverb pedal with great form factor and presets! Sounds awesome! Love you guys!
Thank you so much🫶
You all really knocked it out of the park with this one!
Beautiful sounding verb!!!! Super versatile and pristine. Loved it paired with the synth at the end. Also really really dig the graphics!!🤘🏻
Much appreciated! Glad you like it! Artwork done by Matt Horak🤘
I love that y’all are continuing the format of Aurelius. This sounds great!
Thanks :)
So sweet and simple. Gorgeous pedal and intuitive controls.
Couldn't agree more! Thanks :)
The expression control is amazing, legit wish they had one of these that worked kinda like a mixer and let you control parameters of your choice on multiple pedals. Would save so many musicians backs to have one on a small stand or next to their midi/keyboard/etc. Can also get hard to see the pedal board during a show when the lights are low so it'd be great if it had some lighting. Legendary pedal company, thanks for the great equipment
Sounds beautiful.
Very nice sounds and features!👌🏻😎
I highly appreciate that you included bass demo also!🙏🏻
Greetings from Finland.🇫🇮🌲🌲🌲
Thanks! Greetings!
Very cool! Especially the expression control features
Totally! Did you know we partnered with Mission Engineering to create an EarthQuaker Devices Expression Pedal? It has selectable outputs to work with all EarthQuaker Devices, and many non-EarthQuaker pedals too. Food for thought 😉 missionengineering.com/shop/eqd-1/
When it's super wet, I almost feel like there's multiple voices happening, very interesting textures going on. As always, really great work!
There are definitely a lot of reflections, particularly in Plate mode! The algorithm has a multi-tap delay line that picks up the highest frequencies of the reverb and feeds it back into itself. So at higher length settings (past 12 o'clock) it will almost self oscillate 😎. This is where the dampen control comes useful if you want to tame those reflections.
@@EarthQuakerDevices very very cool. You guys always impress.
I do love a good reverb, and this pedal sounds wicked good. The preset knob is an excellent feature. See you guys at Earthquaker Day!
Heck yeah! See you this weekend😎
It’s sounds like a more utilitarian Afterneath which is a huge compliment. I had one (not the newest) and that thing could loose control so easily. This pedal sounds way more versatile but with the same unique/epic vibe.
Sounds amazing ❤
💞
Sounds dreamy. And simple to use. Love it. I have the Afterneath and that’s a special pedal. Sounds great on bass too
Rock on! It is very approachable. Afterneath on Bass is killer🤘
bass sounds really nice
😢I’m just crying with this sound… that’s stunning!
Tears of joy 🥹
@@EarthQuakerDevices Joy of you guys achieving this stunning reverberation sound! But the timber is pretty melancholic, so am I.. I’d like to put it in line with a quite dirty fuzz.
Beautiful
I don't want to give away a secret if the algorithm in this is programmed how I think it is, but if it is, it's a REALLY clever way to eliminate that sudden stop & start when switching presets from different algorithms that can plague some pedal circuits. Brilliant!
Beautiful reverb
🥰
Sounds pretty, I love the riff.
Stillman has riffs for dayzz😎🔥
Work gave me one of these babies to take home to demo and lord that thing is LUSH, beautiful tones
sick 🤘
Sounds glorious, really nice. If this had the Afterneath's Drag control then the Afterneath would be getting replaced.
Just in time for Earthquaker day, Aug 5th. Great sounding device. Long Live the Loud.
🫡🔊
Yep...I'm going to need this one.❤
woo hoo!🤗❤️
nice!!! cool sounds and super cool art :)
Artwork by the legend Matt Horak!
Sounds great! Love me some reverb.
🙏
Beautiful!
Analog dry-through?
Thank you! Cheers!
Lovely!
this is incredible
🙌
i'd love switching between two presets!
wow i need this one
Earthquaker makes the absolute best guitar pedals. Another magnificent sounding, incredibly built machine. I love this company! 🎸⚡🎶🎵🔆🌙💫☠️
Thats so kind 😊 We appreciate your support!❤️
Love it! Earthquaker killing the game as always...
From T-County, Ohio (now living in SoCal), checking in to say F Yeah! to another killer pedal from EQD!
Cheers! Thanks so much🤘👊
Wow! Lush and Epic right off the bat! And the longest trails ever!
Super swirly and long trails in Plate mode😵💫
Gonna have to get this beauty
Yay🤗
Wooo new pedal! I would LOVE to have an EQ pedal someday 🤘
You can do it! This could be the time :)
@@EarthQuakerDevices y’all rock :D I’m doing my best to save up for one 🤞
Sounds great
cheers!
Fantastic sound, will be mine someday
You can do it!
Presets, exactly what the gigging guitarist needs on a pedal like this
Every Earthquaker Devices reverb is beautiful, I'd own them all if i had the cash
Thats too kind!
Ordered one up last night from a shop in Ohio on Reverb... can't wait to play with/through this thing!!!! AWESOME!!!
Rock on! Thanks for your support! Enjoy :)
@@EarthQuakerDevices Hey, thank you guys for making awesome gear for us folks out here! I've got a few of your pedals... Acapulco Gold (the white casing with the cowboy having a toke... of his cigarette no doubt), Bellows, Bit Commander, Plumes, White Light, and the Sunn O))) shop exclusive color Life Pedal!! ALL great stuff, I use them frequently! Shoot Greg from Sunn O))) had his phone number and name on the shipping box, lol. That was pretty wild!
I'm eyeing a Grey Channel, Spires, and Pitch Bay on the ole Reverb currently... probably gonna pull the trigger one one of those old discontinued bad boys soon. I enjoy tracking down your discontinued models or discontinued color/designs when I can. Saw you guys shot me an AWESOME 20% off offer on the limited run Disaster Transport on your Reverb store for EarthQuaker Day... think I'll have to take you guys up on that, it looks AMAZING with the custom art, box, etc. and is an interesting pedal I'd love to check out!!! Need to pick me up a Pitch Bay poster for the basement/gear room here... gosh that art is FANTASTIC.
Just great. Another reverb with long ambient shoegaze tails, and not even an fx loop to at least be able to add our own filter.
Nice. I really like the sound at around 3:04. It sounds both reverberant and truncated at the same time. I don't think I've heard something like that before.
I think thats called slapback
Interesting. Sounds really usable.
Extremely usable😇
@@EarthQuakerDevices I mean that as high praise. Many pedals are interesting but not super usable.
oooh that opening trail had a thin linger of the Transmissor about it (that I love).
Yes!
Wow! I was currently looking for a new reverb :)
Great timing🙌
"Fire up the black light, Billy" Beautiful sounds, just bummed I don't have a black light.
Lush and lovely. Could I pretty please get one to try out?
Cool, I'm the first to comment. Most everything EQD does is great and looks like we have another winner here.
🏆
Got me an Afterneath a week ago and now I'm already craving for the next reverb… 😅
Ayyy we understand, one thing (pedal) at a time! Enjoy your Afterneath!
Dat plate 🔥
Yes
Let's go!
I thought I had all the reverbs I needed.
Is there a limit?
I had afterneath for some time - fantastic unique device, this one seems like too normal for earthquakes))) p.s zoar and blumes sounds crazy on bass!!!
rad.
Tycho in a box!
Accurate!
New EQD day! It sounds like it falls somewhere between the Afterneath and the Avalanche Run!
Sure, it's sort of in its own category!
HECK YEA WANT NOW... oh yeah we have them!!!
OH YEAHH 😎🤘
Want.
Didn’t expect to, but… y’got me. Want.
Glad you think so! 🔥
As the bass section of the video played out I thought to myself, “I’d like to hear a 0-coast through this,” and there it was lol
Haha nice we're mind readers!
5:46 "Fret for you pedal and feet for amp. Fret for your singer and fret for your guitar..."
Wake up babe new space machine box just dropped
Nice
Sounds awesome! Is the output mono only?
Yes, it's mono only.
I literally just bought a reverb now I gotta sell that and get this.
Oof!🤗🙏
An incredibly beautiful pedal, I wonder the price
$199 in the USA
nice ... sounds a bit like my quantec room simulator :)
When it comes to reverb, you have no competitors. Amazing pedal guys!
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. 😂
Babe Wake up! New device!!!
Oh, baby. I want! I want!
🙌
Mono ONLY output for the “Tri-dimensional” reverb… interesting choice.
"Tri-Dimensional" refers to the 3 unique reverb programs the pedal includes; being the Room, Hall and Plate Modes
@@EarthQuakerDevices thanks for the reply, yeh that makes sense… ironically the “3rd Dimension” chorus by TC electronic is a mono pedal that is a clone of a Boss “dimension C” which was also originally mono, but is itself a clone of the Roland Dimension D which is a stereo field effect, and the very popular Waza Dimension C which is now also stereo … so its a difficult nomenclature around the use of the word “dimensional” …. I guess that makes the EHX holy grail a Tri-dimensional reverb also also as its mono and has 3 reverb options.
Plate up!!!!!
Yeah! Plate ALL the way up
Still no SPX-90 Shoegazer special!!
Gimmmeeeee
YYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTT
Could be good for shoe gaze, presets are a bonus
Stack w a Plumes and/or Hoof you're on par for some shoegazing 😎
Must have that ear to make the best pedals.
Jamie does have that ear.. two of them in fact
@@EarthQuakerDevices Insure his ears!
😍😍😍
Sounds like the Ghost Echo and the Afterneath had a baby.
❤
No one is doing it like Earthquaker right now. I thought i was set and content with the Reverbs i have, might have to go and cop this beauty
Thats too kind thank you so much❤️
Yay
Is there a way for this to pass stereo audio?
The pedal was designed to be used with a mono signal. There is no option for it to pass stereo audio.
I do love a great stereo reverb. Oh wait......
It's beautiful and all but when will you guys... Create the eqd standalone reverse reverb pedal that has some... Crazy.. expression function that can reverse back the reverse and..
Idk
I'm stupid but that's just something I dream you guys will do 🍄🐢
Reverse the reverser
I love reverbs, but did we seriously need another one...
Yes.
The answer, as always, is Yes.
I like EQD. I like Akron. Sold.
❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Presets! This might replace my Fathom
Beautiful with clean guitars, but some kind of weird when it comes to high output marshall distortions
Consider placing the Ledges within the effects loop of your amp, especially if you are making the most of a high-gain Marshall amplifier!
V2 - Put the preset switch on a foot switch. Otherwise… Nice!
The presets are selected by the bypass switch when the pedal is active. Just hold it down to change to the selected preset.
I just wish it had stereo in/out
We focused on mono Inputs/Outputs since the majority of guitar setups operate in mono. It's worth noting that stereo Inputs/Outputs are often underutilized by most guitarists. If you're seeking a reverb/delay pedal with stereo functionalities, we suggest checking out the Avalanche Run!
Can it do kill dry? I cant tell from any of the videos /literature
no there is no dry/kill on the Ledges.
Oh? 👀 Daddy likey 🙌
I'll stick with the Ghost Echo thank you.
Good for you 😎
Carrier falcons!
🦅
Lush!
